Yeah but the truth is that for most of these kids he will be that dude that got slept by Paul. Yes for anyone old enough to have seen him play, or anyone who likes basketball, he will be remembered for his work on the court, not his payout(lets be honest he got paid to be slept, nothing to be sad about) or him sleeping in the ring. This whole video is kind of all over the place anyways, since some of the stuff you can genuinely say was viral(jeremy lin for example) but other stuff is just facts about the person. IE. Bennett being a bust. Nobody outside of the basketball world gives 2 fucks about him failing. He wasn't the first 1st pick to be a complete bust and he wont be the last. Others as well as just facts like for example Birdman hating Cleveland. Like what the fuck does that have to do with anything? Or are they saying he went viral cause of his looks? Cause the closest to "viral" i heard is when someone pointed out how his style is as wild as Rodman was in his day. Hardly viral though, many wild haircuts/tattoos in the NBA.

Forgot to mention that Carmelo forced the Knicks organization to kick Lin off the Knicks because he was jealous that Lin was getting too much of the spotlight. But that's okay, karma struck Lin got his ring on the Raptors and Carmelo retired ringless, even after trying to ring chase by joining the Lakers after they won the chip
@skproductions8495

this is cap. stop. also Lin got a ring on a team but he didnt even play. Bron recruited Melo, yeah hes ringless but had a HOF career, Lin had a HOF week.
@farguc
@farguc 9 ай бұрын
@@skproductions8495 It's not cap. Carmelo did hate the attention lin was getting. I doubt he "forced" them but he defo wasn't neutral in the decision. Also only reason why he went to Lakers was because he wanted a the chip. By the time he was playing with Lebron though he knew he was coming in as a role player, so he didn't have an issue. Knicks were his team, and he felt like he had a say in who played in Knicks. Also it's literally well known Mello was a dickhead of a teammate. He had the arrogance of Kobe, Jordan etc. but wasn't quiet on their level skillwise.
@skproductions8495
@skproductions8495 9 ай бұрын
@@farguc so you’re basically agreeing with my point that melo didn’t force him off the team. never said he loved the guy or anything. its really all speculation but lin himself said theyre were a lot of people not named melo who didnt like him, including dantoni the opportunity to get a chip definitely helped melos decision to go to la but he was definitely friends with bron for a long time too. i also never heard stories of melo being as bad as those 2. especially mj
@farguc
@farguc 9 ай бұрын
@@skproductions8495 I am agreeing that Mello wasnt the one to have the final say, but he for sure didnt like lins attention. He wanted the attention. By the timw he was in LA, he didnt feel like it was his team so he calmed down. As for bad teammate thing, watch any interview from any role player that played with him. They all either say nasty things about him or try to say it in nicest way possible. He had the Greatness complex just like mj and kobe, but he wasnt good enough to back it up the way those 2 did.
@skproductions8495
@skproductions8495 9 ай бұрын
@@farguc oh ok and i agree he didnt like the attention. but for the bad teammate part it seems like more of a who you ask type of thing, ive seen guys on both sides. similar to kobe ive heard good and bad stories, melo didnt have kobes talent u right about that so it makes melo look a little bit worse
