I am a Muslim Indian from the south Indian state Kerala. I was 1st year BA student when the civil war started in East Pakistan in 1971 and the subsequent Indo Pak war and breakup of Pakistan and the birth of Bangladesh as a seperate country. I was chatted with so many people from Bangladesh especially those born after 1971. To my surprise almost all have still a soft corner towards their former country Pakistan. This shows that though the people of the present day Bangladesh detached their political affiliation with Pakistan , they have never rejected the 2 Nation theory on Which their country came in to existence on 14th August 1947.

Yes I agree with you it is not far develop as Pakistan because when both Pakistan was together the leader in the West Pakistan never spend any money in the East Pakistan for development. Alhamdulillah we left Pakistan and now our economy is much better than Pakistan.
