What is ROBLOX? #Roblox is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet­to­be­dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

I played the Original Dungeon Quest game on my iPod. I had tons of hope finding this game on Roblox of all things. But within 1 month of playing, they dropped the battle-passes, and potions and all the P2W items and lost all desire to continue playing. Props to them for ruining a fun experience

for a long time it wasnt p2w at all, these are just the new devs. All the way from desert temples first creation to gilded skies, the only somewhat p2w is +1 item drop and VIP (which only gave 35% more exp and a title) Frankly I do agree though.

@MichealNoneys There are a few other monetization methods they could have chosen. Like, sure, every game has a battle pass. But look at Helldivers. You can farm the currency. And I feel like instead of being shop only, a revamp to potions could happen. Add them to regular loot, but make a higher costing, permanent version for the whole account, you know? Sorry for my rant, I am just really unhappy with the current state of what was my favorite game for a bit

The worst part about the game is that levelling slows down A LOT as you get higher levelled and soloing is not an option most of the time so if they fix that the game is gonna be pretty popular

If this game is pay to win then devs would have weapons that only require robux. In game passes only help you level there’s no competition to leveling unless going for leaderboards. 90% of F2P players have no real idea of what actual P2W games are like. (Lords mobile, Mafia City) You can still get the same items as someone who spends. There’s no advantage being level 210 compare to a level 206. Game allows you to level up the same loot the same and get carried the same. Also craft the new weapon the same.

I can't believe i've been playing this game for 3 years and I still haven't reached max level. I don't even have one leg spell but it's alr. It's the community that's important. I've made so many good friends on here and It's been so fun to play with the new updates. The only thing is that the game is P2W now. Too bad the new developers did that. Leveling should be hard. You're supposed to stay on the same dungeon for a while to get actual gear.

while they have implemented paid elements by no means is the game pay to win, you just traded the items from ur main, the game does not let you buy them directly. you farmed the items to hand them down and that’s literally grind to win, the entire point of the game

i don't feel dungeon quest is pay to win because it feels more like pay-grind less also it seems mostly like it, not a problem if you're with a squad of friends I've been doing NTP with 2 of my other friends and usually you can progress as long as you stick to it and try really hard for the first few attempts but I will agree there does seem to be a heavy pay to grind less thing going on it doesn't feel like I'm being pressured into doing it because of how they are making the legendary weapons from Gregg but that's when ill say it feels pay to win Gregg bounty, is the only pay to win thing I feel really because everything feels easy to complete as long as your playing with people with a brain and have some commitment
