Noob TRIES Fortnite Season 2 for the first time

Season 2 of Fortnite has arrived, and with it, Season 2 of "Drew Gets Confused" has arrived too. This is my first time playing the new season, or any new season! There were twists, turns, spirals, and half circles, but in the end, I came out triumphant. Thank you all for the continued support and for taking this journey with me. This season is definitely on the bigger sides of changes for seasons it'll make sense the more you play. the game can get really crazy sometimes (gets marvel season flashbacks)

U can get gold bars by breaking them They're inside the bunkers the place where u mod your weapons And if u see a bunker with chains on it, it means that the bunker won't open this match

Just to give you some overview on season 2. There are bosses around the map that can be summoned by knocking over a statue that says "challenge (boss' name)". Once summoned each boss has a different way of fighting. Most start off summoning minions except Zeus. Zeus has 2 phases. Once you kill him once he will summon minions and you have to kill them to continue fighting him. There are also new types of chest (which you saw) which has a guranteed chance of Icaurus' wings or zeus' thunderbolts. Both have different abilities. Both have limited uses. Medallions (which dropped from bosses) have been replaced with aspects. (Ex. zeus drops aspect of speed, hades drops aspect of siphon, etc). There are also new weapon modifications sich as thermal scopes. The war forged assault rifle shoots really fast but takes forever to reload. The gatekeeper shopper has 3 bullets, but hits heavy. Harbinger smg has high recoil but is really good when used right. The huntress dmr is basically a sniper which at base has no scope, slow firerate, with big dmg. The underworld has special effect which when in the river or staying forever you get dashes. This season is based off greek mythlogy sorry if its a bit far in the essay. Also every place with bosses from last season have been completely abandoned. There are 4 current bosses, zeus, hades, cerberus, and ares. Bosses also have special abilities and attacks. Hades has a chain he can pull you with and a move which ignores shields and slowly takes your health if youre not behind a wall. Zeus has his thunderbolt. Cerberus has a dash and spin attack move. Ares is.... Ares. Bunkers on are the map now which have good loot and can absolutely shift how the game is going for you. If you shoot someone's wings they will fall down immediately. Also yes battle stars, and levels get reset each season along with ranks in ranked battle royale. Also chug splashes aren't new just old stuff being re-added.

How the Battle Pass works: Every time you level up, you get 5 battle stars. These are used to unlock cosmetics in the Battle Pass. If you want to unlock every item in the pass, you need to reach level 200 (something I've only managed once.)

Another entertaining vid!! I feel bad that you were freaking out but I'm glad you shared it with us. lol. It's definitely a lot to get used to every season. One thing I like about watching you play is that you're not afraid to just jump in and fight people even if you're still figuring stuff out. I play the opposite way, I don't get into fights unless I have to, and I always have mobility and heals so I can escape and heal back up. And I've been playing this game for five years (it was my first and only shooter game ever). Anyway, you're inspiring me to be a little less of a scaredy cat and get into more fights so I can improve.

A tip! For carrying stuff, do no more thatn 3 weapons, plus 1 heal/shield and one utility/movement. That gives you options for everything :) GL on progressing, it's fun watching this series!

i was fr hyped waiting for the video of him playing the new season, also, tip, the zeus lightning bolt and wings of icarus can be found in a special type of chest you found at 5:25. and whenever you walk in the green water you get 3 charges of an underworld dash. and there are 4 medallions around the map you can find by killing the bosses, all 4 in the new areas and marked on the map with a pedestal looking icon. if you kill a boss you get their mythic and their medallion, pick it up and read it in your inventory to know what each one does. another tip is that when you’re in late game, there will be an island that spawns in the air, it’ll be marked on your map and you can hear it clearly. go up the island and claim the flag in the middle for some more loot

You're doing a fantastic job. There is a dodge roll left or right when using the wings you should learn in case you're taking fire. and while the large vaults are gone (some small ones remain, keycards are on the bots), the Bunkers contain the mod benches as well as loot and stacks of gold. seems like the bunkers that do not have chains on them will open after a few storm circles have closed in, provided they are still in the eye of the storm. good luck and keep doing these vids!

These noob videos are hella entertaining and it is so much fun to get some of my own internal monologue given life and being voiced by proxy :D I am sure you get a million of suggestions and I will not add to the confusion but as it now is obvious to be me that you actually know how to play and have experience from earlier, you only need to hone in on the weird specifics of the FT universe and its mechanics. I am sure that you could play it as just-another-fps and get far but after a few seasons you do see that everything is brand new but still the same :) And this goes doubly so for the new chapters as again, it is all completely new, but still the same. Weapons are recycled as they are vaulted and unvaulted and when only very rarely do you get something totally new and alien. And as you stated, this is what keeps it fresh. I did play way back when but I got bored. Nothing was really good and it all got repetitive and boring. This is why it has been now more than 25 years since I played ANYTHING - but my eldest son of 11 nagged on me to play with him, and now I am addicted and about 8-9 months and 1000+ hours into this! Hope to see more of these videos!

Tip: There are these green things called amo crates and they look like little chests but they don’t glow. There are also bigger ones that are blue and green. You open these to get a ton of amo and they are very common. At least one is in every house Hope this helps with your ammo problem. Like so Drew can see.

Few tips I feel people haven't mentioned 1. Throw EMPs at vending machines for easy gold 2. Going back to the lobby n starting new game is faster then just readying up 3. You fall faster while over water 4. The wings while nice for traversal increases your hitbox so be cautious of that

The DMR isn't too shabby with a good scope. Prefer it over the sniper since you get 7rds. Oh, and I'm always in the worst spot when I try to throw bolts too lol
