For anyone wondering where is the crowds from, valve decided to use AI crowds on day 6 onwards (main stage). Basically the AI detect how much stuff happening at that time (damage, save, kill, skill usage, etc) and react accordingly, and it turns out good. Altho sometimes its funny, like the crowds goes wild when roshan die, eventho there is no war involved. Summary First day - no crowds (valve got critics) Second day- fake crowds (valve got more critics) Third and fourth day - dotaTV build up crowds (good but kinda off timing everything the build up full, the war already over) Main stage - AI crowds. Turns out pretty well. Whoever codes that crowd only in 2 days deserve a win.

@GAURAV pandey I’ve been watching many group stage games, trust me either TS or OG hardly compare to nowadays LGD and IG (sad to say) Through these 2 games with OG you can clearly see, their coaching (Zai highly commended their coach after the BO3) such as countering OG’s style from BP, and the outstanding performance from Nashi, were the keys for them to dominate OG But to be honest, beyond that they didn’t really have some bright or shining moments from the other players or excellent group cooperations which LGD and IG have been showing much better performance. I had to say TS can’t go far but OG is much worse from today’s game, OG is done in the main stages, lack of variant draft style and way too heavy depends on Sumail, horrible performance from Topson, total overwhelming BP mindset, I’m not saying they were dumb to the BP but it shows their weakness is too real and they’re truly reaching their limits (I AM a OG fan :(

OG tried so hard to shut Matumbaman down that they basically left Nisha unchecked in both games, allowing him to swoop in and clean them up after they blew everything on Matu. The fact that Matu ended up surviving most of the time just compounded the problem.

In just two games agaisnt Secret, OG went back being that team that failed horribly in the majors and struggled to win the regional qualifiers. They also messed up with the bracket predictions of the majority of the community. I doubt they'll regain self-trust and also the trust of their fans soon.

That game 1 pick was absolute eye opener. Just when you thought its just a pub game randoms but secret somehow pulled out perfect ploy, which i believes it led to easy game 2 after og mentally flatten

They should give the initiating heroes to ceb. IO and mk offlane is strong early but weak midgame cuz lack of damage and initiation.

Precisely. Ceb's strong suit is always Initiation. I get why they opt Io Offlane in the first game so that they, Io and Tusk, can harass the lane pretty easily and slow down the core farm at the process. It really worked, until the midgame when Secret decided to full Ice Blast combo the Io first. MK Ceb however is really weird. I get it has mobility, initiation and damage but with an LC as well as Elder Titan, they shoulda change lane positions of each hero. Why not run LC Off which is an okay matchup with Ursa and make it Roam MK instead? They lack a tanky hero in that second game especially when Secret was utilizing an aggressive playstyle with the Ursa. Either the meta is weird or I am just a scrub to not notice this lineup.

i think the strategy for og in game 1 was for sumail actually, they r all in to buff sumail ursa, but in my opinion sumail itemization wasnt really good in that match, i dont think aghs and bkb at the same time is the right item choice especially when its dragged to the late game, ursa will just fell apart, i just think that sumail should go for 1 of them actually, either aghs or bkb and just go straight to the abysall for the potential burst and lock, but anyway its just my opinion and ofc sumail is well knows as one of the best dota player and one of the talented one.

Yeah no people in the arena, so the crowd sound is based on a "cheer" feature inside the Dota client. And hence sounds same. Still doing a decent job to create some sense of a hype!
