Using scripts in Dota is not a bannable offense. Unless you're modding the game files, most things will pass as not a cheating offense. Third party applications are allowed as long as they do not edit the game files. Scripts and macros are fine as long as it does not edit the game files. Example, you can set a script/macro up to invoke and cast Ghost Walk as Invoker, but you cannot have a programming rewriting the game files, causing a lvl 1 Ghost Walk to function as a max lvl Ghost Walk. Another example, you can set a script/macro to cast rot after a hook as Pudge, but you cannot have a program that causing hook to always hit. You can have a script select * amount of mines and exploding them, but you cannot have a program increasing the mines damage. I mean Dota 2 has control groups so if you want you can set 3 mines one group, 5 in another, then select the control group for which on you want and exploded them in one button.

Not a scripter. I main techies, and the mines will sound like they are being exploded consecutively when selected and manually activated. Coupled with the fact he was extremely skillful and quick to react to how many mines are needed to kill a hero by pressing shift left click and manually activating the select few mines.

It's called grouping. look at your opponents health, do the math on how many mines it would take to kill their highest HP hero, select that many mines, assign them to a group, repeat, when Magnus skewers them onto the mines, press the button for a group of mines, and one press of Q detonates the group, detonating just what you need. Not scripting, all Techies players should know how to do this to avoid wasting 20 remote mines on a single kill of a low level support.

Farkhod Khikmatov Nope, I just know how Techies should be played. I've only played maybe 1 or 2 actual games as techies, and only because I've randomed him. Tho I do play bots often just for messing around and testing random mechanics. 562.5 (Not sure how the game handles halves) is the damage an aghs remote mine at max level does to someone with default magic resist (25%), once you know this all you have to do is glance at the enemies team and see who has the highest HP and do easy mental math to figure out how many mines you need to do more damage than that. Only a handful of things alter magic resistance, so usually you'll not need to worry about anything else. If they do get more magic resist you just throw one or two more remote mines into your group (A single extra mine will break the barrier from Pipe). The owner of the Pipe will get +30% magic resistance, but they usually won't be the highest EHP hero even with it, and will still likely die from your blast, and the extra 10% magic resistance aura is negated by an extra mine.

Hacking is a taking advantage from reverse engineering and making some kind of programm such as .dll/.sys or external .exe to modify protected game process' memory. Scripts DON'T modify anything, it's just a sequence of the actions made by a simple programm.

+Laith Ayyoub That's just because he is a 6k techies player, not just a random techies noob. You can make control groups of 5-6 mines so it's enough to kill someone like zeus without having to blow the mines. Also, you can see at the 1:16 clip that the second amount of mines he blows isn't enough to kill the tiny or BS. If he was using a script, he would've not blown the mines as the script would know it wasn't enough to kill. Trust me, I've seen a lot of scripters and he isn't one
