Today...I drifted on an Evolving wave moving upwards through the star systems & contemplated the wonder & beauty of "Our Creator." The Power & majesty of Pulsating energy eclipsing all negative forces around me.... Thank you SA.

Awesome jam, this piece has a great balance of serenity and compositional complexity. This really captured the essence of what The NDLR was designed to do. Thanks for sharing.

It's refreshing to hear a modular synthesist incorporate actual chord progressions and RESOLVE into their music. ❤️

This will be playing on Saturn station, during the rebellion, but as all things may pass, we will hear it again, in our dreams as we ply our way beyond this galaxy.

An exceptional vast orchestral work, sublime chord /colour movement, sequencing masterfully subtle, lead board is angelic, being one of my favourite lead instruments. The future is bright, the future is Azure...

I didn't get to the stream :( . Tangerine Dream covers covers are very good and well-known classics that are fun and enjoyable to listen to in a relaxed, yet professional way, like State Azure. But authored tracks from State Azure are also very good and professional. Thanks State Azure, very good strem and wonderful composition.! Happy Holidays and New Years :)

Very nice atmospheric music and also a beautifull and very stylistic scenographic video. I like it very much when a jam-session is also a 'feast for the eye'...

Hi State Azure, what did you think of the NDLR? If I saw correctly, it didn't stay in your setup long..
@stateazure
@stateazure 4 жыл бұрын
I actually really like it, it's very fun for improvising with, I just haven't yet found a permanent place for it, and it's probably not something I would use all the time as it would take away the fun of programming other sequencers. So yeah, it's great, but difficult to incorporate into my current setup and the way I like to work, it almost does too much. I'm sure I'll use it again at some point.
@Aedhon
@Aedhon 4 жыл бұрын
@@stateazure that's what I was wondering about, it feels a bit like cheating :P but also kind of fun. Your sequencing is great to listen to, so keep doing it the hard way!

what is the instrumentation used on this? what's doing the plucky arp and lead you play?
@stateazure
@stateazure 4 жыл бұрын
The plucky arp is Xaoc Odessa module. I can't remember what the lead part was, I think it was the Behringer Model D. Pads/strings are the Novation Peak. I think there was also a secondary arp playing, which if I remember correctly was just a sine wave from another module. I should have taken notes, but I think this is right.
@stateazure
@stateazure 4 жыл бұрын
Come to think of it, the lead part may have been from the DAW. Perhaps Minimonsta vst

When you play notes on the keystep, does it inform the NDLR in any way?
@legosteveb
@legosteveb 4 жыл бұрын
The NDLR is controllable via both note messages and CCs. It will also transpose in-bound notes messages and pass them through. The NDLR can also use mod wheel, velocity and after touch as sources in its modulation matrix. So for instance the mod wheel can be used to change the note range or position of the pad. Or after touch can make the Motif length longer/shorter.
