This is probably the funniest AvM episode for me. I like how much effort Red made just to throw cake in Green's face by making contraptions that Yellow would probably be impressed by. My favorite funny moment is when he jumps out of Purple's treehouse through the window lol

The sheer effort Red put in to prank Green is astounding. I love how Purple helped to prank Green, especially when it was Green who helped Purple out the most and gave him a second chance. True friendship, in every sense of the word, because only the truest of friends help get you pranked

Also, Purple being the one to scheme such a devious plan is fitting. Like, 1- lulling into a false sense of security, 2-taking a looong time to build the plan over time, 3-having henchmen help you, and 4-showing something GRAND to deceive the eye when the real trick is at the end, waiting. In the first big fight sequence of the entire series, the cave spider swarm minecart fight, he goes absolute beast mode.

There's a subtle genius to the way Red finally gets Green With how big of a climactic blow that giant cake was, Green would obviously think they managed to dodge whatever Red was planning. That means green let their guard down for the actual blow, which was just an unceremonious cake to the face. And since the big cake was being dropped by the kamen-rider abominations rather than red themselves, Red had plenty of time to get into position for the real blow while Green was distracted, preventing Green from figuring out what was going on until after it had already happened.

I like to think the reason green can evade all of that is because he's used to it in his whole life. Like, he's the one who always getting hurt before for the silliest thing. I thought Green was like that because he hangs out with Red often(that’s why the two of them are the the combat types) their bond seems like rivals, and I thought Green just stick Red’s side to get used to Red’s antics, and before he knows it, He somehow knows Red’s every plan, but he also knows how scary red can be when he’s dedicated to something, that’s why he felt nervous during the ‘picnic’. Something I noticed is that green seems way more confident and level headed during the opening montage, effortlessly dodging and outsmarting everything red throws at him. However during the setup for reds master plan, green is far more anxious and jumpy. It’s my belief/headcannon whatever that the opening montage is from reds own frustrated perspective.
