I just want to say because I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding this event because of the price of the skins that I DO NOT agree with how expensive they are. I think its personally a big fuck you to all the players and a big fuck you to any huge Final Fantasy fans out there that can't afford the insane price these are. For example this costed me over $400aud which is MESSED UP and the only reason I am buying these is because I'm such a huge Final Fantasy fan as you can see from my nearly 7k hours played 😂otherwise I wouldn't even bat and eye to this event. I am personally going to stop buying collections unless I really really want the skins and I agree with how they are priced. btw if you kill me in game and see my stupid death box you can tbag it because I deserve it #fixyourshitapex

If it wasn’t THIS expensive I would have probably gotten it. Actually I think almost everyone would have actually gotten it since it’s a universal heirloom. But for it to cost almost 300 bucks for 2 inspect animation and a matching banner pose it’s just not worth it. I think it would have been better if they switched the epic packs with the event packs letting you open 3 per week. It’s like the iron crown event again.

I started in like season 7 and ima be honest. The game was super fun it was amazing.However I watched it slowly turn into a terrible game. They have the capability to make a great game with amazing lore feel like a sore on your pockets cause they forgot what matters most isn’t money, but player satisfaction cause if you can satisfy you won’t need to worry. That’s why I personally only lasted 4-5 seasons and quit, new skins are overpriced, they chose quantity over quality, and I’ve watched all OG players either quit or only come back hoping they would do better. Apex WAS fun but it’s just not anymore :(.

The concept of having universal heirlooms is cool. The execution of the universal heirloom was horrendous. I stopped playing Apex when catalyst came out since the ranked system was shit and that was truly my only reason for playing. This possible 500 dollar universal collaboration heirloom is such a money grab. Such a money grab. "lets do a collab with Final Fantasy" one of the biggest gaming franchises. But make the whole collab just 25 dollar skins and a deathbox. Huh? Who? Who asked for this? Who asked for a Death box heirloom. Who asked? oh yeah nobody. But EA has taken full rein of Apex and is just pumping as much money out of it as they can until it dies. Apex will not last 10 years like they have predicted. Especially with shit like this being added but not actually making steady improvements and QOL changes to the game. The last QoL change was adding the survival slot. Which was about 2 years ago now... When's the next QoL update?
