Minecraft is meant to be a simple survival game. Not an open world rpg. There's a reason why dlc,mods, add-on's are a thing for MCPE/MC JAVA.

I suggest find those "RPG" server's in Minecraft instead of complaining. Do you actually expect the boss to be somewhat like elden ring? This ain't terraria bro,. "Again", there's a reason why you can add mods/add-ons into the game to change the entire mechanic and how view it. Just use mods or find a different game if your complaining not being too exciting to end it.

@@madmanoliver Firefly was likely included to tie in with the Batgirl movie where he was going to be the main villain... before it got cancelled. Even more likely since the map's bio lists him as specifically the Ted Carson version of Firefly, which was the one that was going to be used in the movie.
