I wish I understood what she was/is saying. The delivery is powerful and reminds me of some American jazz vocalists in how emotional they get in a song, is she singing about falling in love and losing it, is this a religious song of praise, a story? As I said before I don't need to understand it to appreciate it. I cracked up in the car earlier as I'm just a white boy from Michigan and playing this in my car on the way home from work.

I don't understand anything and it's definately not what I normally listen to or is exposed to but I'm intrigued by these sisters and this type of music. Have spent quite some time looking through their videos. Maybe you can enlighten me to some of the (for me) more odd things going on in their videos. What's with the money throwing (I assume it is money) and in some videos there is a woman behind the girls messing with the girls earrings etc and dealing with their hair and dress while they are singing. Like that's all she does, she doesn't dig the music, clap or dance just. She's just meddling with the sisters, and not in between songs either but while they are singing.

@@justins21482 you need to learn a lot about the world. India isn't in "the middle east", and the reactionary movements in the middle east are very recent and mostly created by colonial powers.

I'm very fascinated by this family. The dad is playing the harmonium and the brother on tabla. And I reckon potential husbands are sitting in the audience. I love how they throw money at these girls. They have powerful voices.
