Noori Top via Sharda to Jalkhad Aug 2018

Hi, we were a three men team riding very reliable machines but certainly taller and heavier then common motorcycles. After diverting from Sharda - Kel road it took us little over 5 hours to complete the next 49 kms. Our ascent was 32 kms to Noori Top with an altitude gain of 6000 ft and descent was 17 kms long while we lost 3000 ft of altitude. The landscape was breathtaking. For most of the journey we stayed well above tree line. Entire round trip from base (Rawalpindi) lasted 3 days. Day 1: From base to Tejian in Neelum valley. Day 2. Tejian to Khannian (69 kms from Jalkhad towards Mansehra, altitude 6000 ft) in Naran valley. Day 3: Back to base. Average daily ride time was 9-10 hours. Total trip distance 680 kms. It depends on terrains some times heavy touring bikes better n some times light weight bikes like 150 125 category Its huge diff when u have efi technology n others have simple carb tech especially when there is lack of oxygen So u cant compare when theres diff riders with diff category of bikes Nice video

Faisal Bhai mainey mushkil lagney ka to kahin zikr nahin kiya. But at 7:00 I do make a statement that this track has unnecessarily been declared tough by those visiting on GS 150 etc.

that's just bcoz carburetor bikes loses power at higher altitude and many makes mistake of carrying a pillion thats why it feels tough for smaller bikes

Sir we were on two BMWs and one Suzuki DR650. There was no RX3. However we met few guys enroute with GS 150 and YBR

Bravo... It's my dream off road adventure yet to be fulfilled. Can you please tell me if this track can be covered on a small jeep 4x4 (Suzuki Jimni) or you recommend a big one like TLC?

Suzuki would be ideal. TLC no way due to width, weight and longer wheel base. However FJ 40 or Defender 90 would be better than Suzuki even.

Sir askardu to askole for k2 base camp bht kam log gye hain bikes pr, almost none, road fairy measows se ziada dangerous to no ho gi na, a humble request; do give it a try...

@@ahsanquddus9376 Thanks alot sir but here riders have done fairy meadows with 150cc suzuki gs150; a mainstream bike in pakistan, and secondly, is shigar to askoli possible on KTM DUKE 200 or 250 or TEKKEN 250 etc that are easily available in pakistan, at least hell easier than this 1200cc BMW bike
