Figured I'd mention that my X2V2 Muzan (Demon Slayer Collab) is solid with no issues, but I also want to copy mel0n_'s pinned comment for those wondering what the new batches are like: "So it appears like Pulsar has "patched" this issue on the newer batches of the X2H, X2V2 and X2H preventing this issue. I also confirmed that this issue isn't present on the Xlite v3, X2H eS or the Xlite eS editions. I'll do my best to get my hands on some newer batch models to see if they're truly patched the issue. Compared to Xlite v3, it seems like that all their other mice have been lacking in build quality; that and them constantly making LMTD editions of those models even with those issues (and the fact even newer models of the mice are coming THIS year) seems quite like a stupid move. I hope Pulsar really changes this, cause if their other mice including Xlite v3 end up having those issues, I might avoid them entirely and get another brand instead, and I don't want to cause I know the X2H or XV3 shape could work really great for me with large fingers. Other than that, great review dude! Keep up the great work :D

I have the X2V2 Mini and X2H mini. I got one of the first batches of the X2H Mini and started getting a sticky left click. I sent it back to get repaired. When it came back fixed, it feels like the clicks are completely different. I haven't opened up the mouse so I don't know if they swapped switches or not. It's possible they used the new updated parts from the Demon Slayer line. Having said that, their customer service was immaculate. Instant communication between me and customer service. The mouse went from Chicago to Korea, back to Chicago within a week, free of charge. As a rear hump mouse enjoyer, the X2H Mini has been amazing for me.

Hi Jakeufps. I had the same experience with buying the white versions of the X2H Mini, X2V2, and mini version. All three had crunchy clicks(luckily I returned them). However, I did take a gamble on their Demon Slayer Collab mice and the QC/quality is way better. What I'm getting at based from Pulsar is that QC-wise, Pulsar Collabs > 1st Editions from their white and black line-ups. For those buying a Pulsar mouse, treat collabs as final versions/ Batch 2s and 1st editions as Beta/Batch 1s.

nice review, I was looking to switch off of my old GPX since I wanted a mouse that was better for my grip style. People recommended this mouse to me due to my weird grip (pincer claw), but bc of the qc issues and I’m also not a fan of the weight that much, I thought about getting the Sora V2. But a lot of people said it’s just another generic 3395 100 dollar mouse. So from your personal opinion, do you think I should get the Sora or another mouse that you would recommend? I can also wait for unreleased mice, I’m not in a hurry.

Have you tried the vaxee np-01s? I just ordered one, need to try it. Have been using light mice for a while now, want to try this one that is a little heavier and the shape could be absolutely goated. I have the x2v2 mini, atlantis mini, maya, aj199, ultralightx medium, hts+ 4k. And many others, but these are the main mice in my rotation at the moment.

My X2H Mini hasn't had any issues and is phenomenal. However I had QC issues with the X2H on the left click myself. But shit. I had left click issues on my Vaxee NP01S, and their support team told me to get bent. At least with pulsar you can return it if you get it through Amazon.

i have the earlier X2H which i fixed the sticky buttons on, i also have a founders edition and acid rewind edition. the latter 2 do not suffer from the sticky buttons.

So i got the og x2mini and the x2 transparent. Both had issues after few months at least theyre minor issues. The x2mini under the side buttons for some reason has this tiny bit of flex after like 3 months. The x2 regular size transparent edition after like 5 months the scroll wheel started squeeking when i scroll slowly. I main the mz1 wireless modded anyways lol but whatever. Im designing a 3d printed one for the x2 mini internals for shits and gigs.

I took a chance and got the x2h Founders edition and I've had no issue a month in. I of course took it because of the hump since like you said nothing was steep enough. My favorite mouse has always been my favorite but nothing felt like it until I got this one. Hopefully I don't get any issues....

bought an x2v2 mini, had click issues and grinding, RMA'd it, bought an x2-h mini, had 2 step issues and grinding where there was 2 actuation points per click because of QC issues, RMA'd it, bought a wlmouse beast mini, had loose left click and mwheel grinding... I can't catch a break. hopefully my op1 8k will be okay :D.

8:03 now that I have an x2h mini (shinobu), coming from a BLE x2 mini, I do wish the x2h went away with the hump but I do like the slimmer sides. So for me the perfect iteration for the x2 would be a mini, with x2h slim sides and possibly a lower hump than even the x2 (non-h). weird combination I guess but that's probably what's gonna work best for me. Oh and upgrade to omron opticals, keep the current "indirect scroll wheel" system + dustproof encoders and keep the awesome coating.

Wow what an interesting example of how mouse shape is such a personal thing. After having used the X2H mini for a few months, I just ordered a second one even though I don't have any issues with my current one, because I love the shape so much and don't want to be in a situation where it gets discontinued and I'd have to try finding another mouse (which there are not many of in the same shape). For context, before X2H mini, I used Razer Viper, and before that, SS Sensei...which were my favorite shapes at the time, though I always had my gripes with them (hump too low, and too centered/far forward for my liking), so the X2H mini's very high, very rear hump was EXACTLY what I had been wishing for for years! I will say I MUCH prefer the click feel on the Viper though. It's generally one of my least favorite clicks overall (X2H), and is my biggest (possibly only?) gripe with the mouse.

​@@equiknox_ How does one check which batch? I will say this though: my 2nd X2H mini arrived, in Acid Rewind color and the clicks are much nicer than my first X2H mini in White. Because of that, I emailed Pulsar, and they replied saying that they have updated the switches in the white (and I would also assume black) ones, and that all new units should have the revised click feel. I did some research online and it seems like all the red color ones were made with the revised click. So that, and Acid Rewind, you should be "100% safe" in getting the revised version. I'm not sure about the other limited edition colors. If you order black or white from the Pulsar site directly, you will also be safe. But as I bought mine from Canada Computers, it's less certain when their inventory will get refreshed with the revised version, so I'm holding off exchanging my white one for a few more months. This is copy & paste from Pulsar's email reply to me: "This is caused by Raesha's switches, but we consider this as a defect and it is covered by the 2 year warranty, so I highly recommend that you contact your seller and provide them with proof of defect and proof of purchase. ​ This issue is rare, but our QC team makes sure to test every mice sold and remove these, so buying a new one should not be an issue."

Tried to go back to my Bruce Lee x2 a few weeks back and had the SAME issues even after LOD tweaks...I also discovered I have a battery issue on mine as well. It's a shame because Pulsar has some solid designs and their other accessories are good but their mice don't hold up :/

I own the transparent Toxic color X2H. Indeed the clicks are pretty meh 😢 - but the coating is improved vs original. Tracking thankfully is ok. I think pulsar are too busy with cash grabs and colors and collabs.

I hated the feeling of the switches even on the demon slayer shinobu version. I don’t know why they switched all of their products over to such a crappy switch implementation when they had good switches on the Boardzy and RFP versions.

I have X2h mini and it is the best for me. I bought so many mice and this was the best. The shape is perfect for my grip. By the way, Pulsar fixed the sticky clicks for the standard x2h mini too. Indeed the clicks are a bit heavier than what I usually like, but the complete package is better for me than for example Atlantis mini, Thorn, Razer Viper or Logitech Superlight X. Thorn is actually a good alternative for me, if I am not playing FPS games. On FPS games, X2H mini is the king.

The hump is just absolutely dumb, allowing ZERO micro adjustment and super awkward feelings in the center of my palm(my palm even had some numbness after half an hour of playing). Also mine had insane pretravel on the button and made it unusable before attaching alluminum foil.

i put my x2h mini in black through the ringer with at least 500h in aim trainers and i had exactly 0 of any of these issues... doesn't creek, clicks still good, pretty normal pre travel/post travel compared to v2 pro. and the hump... i kinda like it😅(19x10 hands btw). seen killuminaty recently break some world records on the regular x2h so i am considering getting one just to test the larger shape or maybe the sora if prices come down by a lot here. the more reviews i see about this mouse, the more i feel like i got the only good copy😂

Glad you're able to enjoy yours that much! As I said, if you like this shape, there's nothing else out there for you, and shape is king! If you're coming from a V2 Pro, you're already used to opticals and most likely won't hate these switches as much as somebody who mains mechanical switches, but I'm happy to hear that you got a solid copy 🫡

@@jakeufps yeah, my only gripe are the clicks. they could be better, no doubt. but they aren't unuseable or feel horrible. the last mouse i had with mechanicals had double clicking issues under 4ms debounce, that was unuseable. as for the sensor, i tested it on only 4 pads(budget speed pad, venus pro, equate plus v2 and a superglide glas). no tracking issues as far as i am able to tell either. i would consider getting rid of the glas skates as they change too much of the sensor distance due to their thickness. and then there's this issue with black reflective pads(often cordura) that cause a malfunction of the sensor(often older sensors like 3370) without variable liftoff distance or liftoff set to minimum. and then theres the cerapad kin which has all sorts of issues with certain mice. my guess is that it's added thickness of the superglide glass skates and the 2mm lift off isn't enough to compensate the thickness on certain pads.

The fact that most if not ALL pulsar mice have this weird skate border makes me sick. It artificially makes your skates thinner and will scrape your mousepad later. This is some RVM plastic ring kind of shit. Huge L

I think one of the reasons is that Pulsar is getting very big and many people are getting their mice as their first enthusiast gaming mouse, so they might now know what they could be missing out on. But it's safe to say that if you love the shape of the X2H, there is nothing else out there for you. Thank you!

I got my X2H mini on release, and here's my thoughts: 1. The sticky/crunchy click issue is typically only when you have not clicked the mouse for about over a minute or so, which typically in game does not even bother me or even have any noticeable impact UNLESS it's between long rounds, games, etc. It is far from something that affects playability at all, HOWEVER it is a little annoying and there should be better QC for this issue in particular. I have had Lamzu mice do this as well. 2. The shape is being almost insulted here despite the fact that it is 100% marketed for exactly that purpose. I feel it's in bad faith to say the shape is bad/awkward because of the hump, when it's quite literally what the goal is. H stands for hump. I have large hands 21x13 but I prefer smaller mice (usually the Finalmouse small variants) but the hump at the back of this shape keeps the back of my wrist from planting and makes me a better aimer. Thinner sides helps the better aggressive claw from from the regular X2 shape, which I have 3 of. 3. I did not encounter any issues with sensor skipping or anything like that on this mouse at any polling rate, 2mm lift off, and various glass pads or other recent pads I've used (LGG, Freefall, Ember, several Artisans, etc.)

Most likely the issue depends on the batch and the user's environment, for some it is very bad - twitter.com/isnvll/status/1773021714114351506 I did hear many say that it is always at the beginning of their session that they have that issue, but regardless, this shouldn't be an issue on a $100 product when there are similar mice out there for half the price that don't spot such an issue and also provide a much more premium click feel Only because I don't personally enjoy the shape doesn't mean that I am insulting it objectively, I even said several times that if this type of hump is what you are looking for, there is nothing else out there for you but this X2H shape - 13:35 Glad you didn't have any issues when tracking, but I am simply stating my personal experience here with my unit

IMO the x2h hump design needs a lot of polishing. The only people who have been enjoying the x2h are people with huge hands who are desperate for any kind of hump/palm support. There's nothing wrong with that except for everyone else with medium or smaller hands the hump is quite uncomfortable and not thoughtfully designed. I'm all for new shapes but this first iteration of the x2h definitely needs more ergonomic adjustments.

damn, you experience is far from mine.. I got the red variant (newer batch) and I love this thing. I don't get any of the m1 and m2 buttons issues, my mini version tracks flawlessly (on glasspad) and the shape for me is perfect haha.. I love the hump because it locks in my grip (relaxed claw and small hand), all the other mice I either feel I don't get a consistent grip or I think the hump is in the wrong place (superlight for ex). From my point of view I wouldn't not recommend pulsar at all, but just don't get their 1st batch products and it's not just a pulsar problem, final mouse also had issues with their 1st batches. I would say get a newer batch x2h medium and see if the problems persist. The x2h mini is too small for your hands, the hump will just hit the wrong spot in your hands.
