I think the success of the Chip Podacast has a lot to do with the fact people want to hear Jim & Ant together more than anything. Even if it’s not the real J.N. they are hearing. If Ant & Jim was in place of Opie and Anthony, I think ratings would have been even better. Opie got lucky when he got Ant. And the listeners are lucky that Ant got a chance. So we do owe that to Opie. Opie was there at this point just because it was the norm. He shoulda failed outta the business long ago. He was nothing after Jim took himself out of the picture. That was the last straw so-to-speak. I think it would have been a lot harder for them to get rid of Ant if Opie was gone.
