I remember she put some little recipes in her books as she liked it so much. Her books were so easy to read, because she was an excellent writer, if a book is not easy to read it would be easy the writer is not a good writer. These hebrew women seem to be all incredible cooks, I feel under pressure...

I wonder if she still hates her neck ( I'm referring to one of her stories.) She lived well, she was generous and kind, an inspiration to others. She even died a good death-- that will come out someday. I'm going to miss her humor. I was kinda counting on her to lead the way to a fun old age.

Where have all the great writers gone? James Grey said Americans no longer know how to write great stories.
