Brava! Brava! Bravissima! *claps wildly* Okay, now that that little reference is off my chest, onto the video. I'm so glad you didn't lose your channel because this turned out AH-MAZING, I freaked so hard when I got the notification! I loved the little details you included, like how the screen went red with the line "My power over you, grows stronger yet," the occasional black-and-white aesthetic, Nora actually turning away from him when the song mentioned it, and her reaching out towards his suit during the instrumental in the beginning (because that scene always felt very Phantom to me :D). This whole thing felt so surreal and fantastical with all of your fun edits and add-ins, which was PERFECT, given the subject matter this song hails from. And come on, "The Phantom of the Opera is there inside my mind"? If that doesn't apply to Thawne's influence on Nora, then I don't know what does XD. (Plus, the fact that Tom Cavanagh was playing a full-time French Wells AND had Thawne doing Phantom in one season is certainly "interesting", no? XD) You've done this ship and this duet such great justice with this crossover! And who knows, maybe this video will get some Flash fans to check out Phantom! Excuse all my gushing but you deserve it! On another note, I was wondering if I could tag this link with a Flash/Phantom fic I'm in the middle of updating on AO3. I know you're worried about haters and this is a newer upload so I wanted to ask your permission first. If you're curious to read it, I'll send you the link (yes there's going to be Reverse XS in it). And I certainly understand about school and how much time it takes up, so I understand if you're not very active during that time. Very well done Xoana, your videos keep getting better and better!

@@chibiSORAchibiL People have said similar things about the two recipients of this song's origin, Christine Daae & Erik/the Phantom. Or Reylo from Star Wars. But they are my OTPs regardless. My point is that, sometimes you just can't help but ship things people don't always agree with, and sure yeah I disagree with ships too, but I try to keep an open mind and have respect for them because it's all comes down to the fact that people have different tastes.

@@chibiSORAchibiL Exactly! And even if they do seem wrong when put into a realistic context, they're FICTIONAL characters. For example, I'm well aware that in Phantom, the whole "Erik stalking and obsessing over Christine while emotionally manipulating her by using a fairytale her dead father told her" situation is NOT cute. However, aside from all that, they have a connection through their shared loneliness and musical gifts, and he chose to become a better person for her. So it's like "Hey, I'm sorry if I find those things beautiful and romantic." Plus they have one of the best duets ever (this song right here) so there's that too XD. And I'm glad to hear that you like Reylo!

I absolutely love this video! Now I'm shipping them so hard! Also, I had some reflexions about the end of the 5th season. Honestly I would have liked all these things to happen in Season 5 of Flash : - Nora rescues Eobard Thawne - He makes a real redemption - They find a way to not destroy Cicada's dagger so Nora isn't erased from existence Or : - Eobard Thawne rescues himself the same way as it is in the series - They destroy Cicada's dagger - But Nora chooses to enter to the Negative Speedforce and she becomes Reverse XS (and teams up with Reverse Flash/Eobard Thawne) Unfortunately none of these things actually happened! 😅😑😐 It would have made a great plot for the next season... I'm sure anyway they would have found a way to make Nora good again. But the realisator(s) didn't choose this path.

(as the Phantom of the Opera novel 😉 ) By the way, I think this is so strange that, in the French dub of Flash, Iris tells Barry that Thawne has feelings for Nora (it is during the 19th episode if I remember well. They argue at this moment) In the original version, she just tells him he "cares" for her, but in french he has "feelings" for her. ("Il a des sentiments pour elle") For me, having feelings for someone means having a crush on someone. But in the last episode Thawne says he saw her like a daughter so that would be awkward. But I was so happy when Iris said this. ^^

@nobody I totally agree with you. I like the idea of Nora turning evil by herself as well. I was very disappointed that she chose to be erased just to be a "hero". Indeed she would have made a great villain, as she had a tormented past. Unlike Savitar aka Emo Barry lmao. (I also call him Emo Barry 😂 when he had the armor he seemed like a very good villain, but when he showed his “real” face I was like "No, really? Now it's the worse villain I have ever seen" and couldn't take him seriously.)

@nobody I really hope it then! Nora was one of my favourite characters on Flash. And for Savitar I agree. I think he was a very bad villain, plus he killed HR Wells so I hate him. ^^ (Even though I prefer evil characters as Thawne, I agree HR was great!)
