i was recently diagnosed with pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and it explained the reason for my weight gain and why nothing i was doing was helping me cut it. basically, because of that and a combination of other medicine, i’ll never be able to achieve that perfect body i always dreamed of. i’ve been more content with how i look and who i am lately, knowing that i’m as healthy as i can be and just a bit heavier, but sometimes there’s days where i really just need affirmations. my (now ex) broke up with me because of this and opening up to him about it. thanks for helping me feel comforted :,)

Oh Lord, there's a lot of things I wanna say about this video and I wish I could express it properly, first of all, I burst into tears, there's a rush of emotions that shook my heart, everything you said, the way you express it with your voice, that's one of the reasons why I love your videos, you're such an amazing voice actor. All the story brings memories of my life, as a child, as a teenager, even now, that I'm a woman of almost 33 years, the things I still struggle with, that as you said, are not the biggest problems but they burn me inside. Also the way you kinda casually but also very strongly wove the ~actual beauty of life itself when you take a step back~ into this one was sooooooo so beautiful😭 like heartwrenching to sweet and positive gave me an emotional whiplash in the best way possible. The words of affirmation, the support and care, the absolute love are all things that I would have been able to experience with my soulmate. I had the absolute gift of meeting him, within a short time we both knew we were each other’s one and only. Before we could even meet, he fought and died for his country, a solider that did more for the world than anyone will ever be able to know. I only got to know him for a very short time…but every moment was precious. It’s only been 4 months since he passed, 4 long months of absolute grief, loss, and turmoil. The words in this audio are things he would have said to me, to reassure and tell me how deeply and truly he loved me, at least in the affirmations part. To hear them out loud, even though it isn’t him speaking it, it had me in tears. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that asmrs can’t/don’t help anyone or make an impact. Whether audios are to let the listener be transported to another world or feel love and words they need to hear, it doesn’t matter. It makes an impact and makes a difference.
