Ronnie kept his voice and performed solid for an hour straight. There’s no denying the guy is the one of the all time great performers.
@SS-rr7by6 жыл бұрын
.....an hour? Haha GD doing 2.5 hours, Springsteen doing close to 4 at about 60 years old. I'd like to see Ronnie try that.
@luckluster82016 жыл бұрын
@@SS-rr7by yeah, the thing is that Ronnie is constantly screaming, hitting high notes and aplying multiple vocal techniques, it's crazy the way that he can still be singing in perfect condition after all. I love Green Day, but Billie's vocal techniques doesn't compare to Ronnie's.
@SS-rr7by6 жыл бұрын
Nice try kid. If you wanna play that game, then just compare Ronnie's "performance" to Chester Bennington, Corey Taylor (Slipknot and Stone Sour), or Jesse Leach from Killswitch. The difference is night and day. Ronnie just walks around back and forth doing the same thing, maybe a different movement every 10 minutes or so. That is not a great performance.

Solid performance. It's impressive that they go almost directly from one song to the next without talking to the crowd for a minute and taking a break. "I'm guessing he didn't talk much because English isn't the primary language there". It's more exhausting and difficult than people may think playing this many songs back to back. I speak from experience. His voice held up fairly well. Definitely have a lot of experience on the road.

Calling Across The Void Band From my experience playing shows overseas. There’s definitely certain areas that may have more English speaking people than others, but it’s predominantly people who speak the native language and possibly very basic English. So I personally keep chat to a minimum and mainly to short statements to avoid any confusion because of a language barrier. It’s actually something many bands do. Which is why I mentioned it in my comment in the first place
