NorCal to SoCal in a Cessna 172 / Flight VLOG

In this episode, I prepare for my commercial with a long solo cross country to the middle of nowhere.
After landing, I figured the COM 2 issue was probably a weak transmitter (out of range). As for COM 1, I have no clue. But hey, at least the transponder was working!

I hate I-5 too. How long was the flight?? From North to south?? I kinda want a 172

BayAreaPlaneSpotter 2002 I think it was like 2 and a half hours each way. Not the most fun hahaha. And hey, if it makes sense go for it!

Daniel Shulte I was curious because, I live in Sacramento, but I drive to SoCal sometimes, I borrowed my uncles Cessna 525, but I feel like I should get a plane that can get me there in less than 4 hours. Instead of driving I-5 for 7 hours. It would be nice to own a 172 and fly it up and down instead of paying for a plane ticket

BayAreaPlaneSpotter 2002 yeah man if you can justify the costs of owning, I’d say it’s worth it. I’d do it to avoid that drive too.
