You say it was anti-climactic. But only for you. For them it was pretty fantastic.

My thoughts exactly. I'm a mediocre cat 4 masters, and this is why I love racing -- it's not the strongest person who wins, sometimes you just get in the perfect place and can blow out these "sprinters" in a sprint.

I agree! This was one of the best endings to Alviso this season. It's a textbook example of when "too smart" becomes "dumb". It's also a perfect demonstration of why it's important to preserve, even when faced with little to no prospects of success. This sport often takes, but will sometimes really give back!
@Real285 ай бұрын
@@m.ncycles eh, this wasn't "too smart" becomes dumb at all. Not having vision =\= dumb. If you're smart, you can hide yourself from certain racers. It doesn't make them dumb. It just means you played it best.

I miss the rear facing camera, while i agree the views from the insta360 are interesting i feel we lose perspective on what is coming behind you. This race is a perfect example, we could have seen the two riders coming full speed from behind.

Thanks for the great content! Video idea … would love to learn more about your chain ring and cassette choices and therefore ideal gear ratios for your races. What are the trade offs, when do you switch it up, etc. Do you run really large chainrings to help you maintain high speed once you get rolling? I can’t find good content on this topic with models group sets and also would love your performance race perspective. Thanks!

Loving the 360 camera. That last 200-300m side view was really interesting to show how they were able to sneak up from behind. How far out front is it on your bike? Or is it in the same spot as the GoPro? Cam from RCA posted on his IG story about not liking it because he has his way far out front. It looked like a 2fi-3ft stick

This one suuuuuucked. Everyone was gassed from the heavy winds and chasing. Nobody expected a chase to catch with everyone's pants down and looking at each other.
