I have the same bike and brakes never agreed with me -- I swapped to Galfer Purple brake pads and bled the brakes and it is a totally different bike now. I also swapped on some RS levers but mostly because I had them sitting around, dont' think they are what made the difference but perhaps.

Thanks for the suggestion on the pads! I bled the lines and it definitely helped, but think I may try some new pads like you mentioned. Great bike so far, but not loving the brakes either.

@@onesuperstardrummer I realized I made my comment with my other account.. I'm also the JeepingNet guy :) but on this account, you can see in my newest video how much better the brakes are on a more downhill ride. I 100% trust them now.

Thanks for your contribution…I’m picking up a 2nd Bigfoot VLT1 tomorrow & looking forward to some partner rides coming up. I did a couple mountain snow ride videos last year on my 1st bike and they are definitely a fun easy forgiving bike.

@@onesuperstardrummer CowTown Cycle in Canyon Meadows….the M seems very hard to come by, as non to be found in BC except at Wild Bike, which is just a bit too far for me. And I was taking a trip to Alberia anyways 👍
