are they getting ready to come out with a Nord C3? looks like the 2 has been around for about 6 years now. I would LOVE to see a single manual, 61 note (either waterfall or synth keys) combining their virtual synth and organ sounds, with the 11 pin Leslie socket. I like my electro 4, but I'm mainly a tonewheel organ/synth player and really don't have to have the piano or sampled sounds. and no, I don't really want a stage.

A have a Hammond C-3, and the sound produced by the Nord is pretty darn close. Not quite, but close! 🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹

The XK-5 has both preamp (tube) and postamp (digital) OD controls so you can really fine tune that.

Not really. He was playing in the style of Ray Manzerak, and similar phrasing, but no not exactly. He was just ad-libbing.

Nope. Below this price the quality drops off. Legend and Mojo might be a little less and still decent. Dexibel, but none of the good organs are cheap.

my favorite cheap B3 clone is the Yamaha Reface YC. it's so portable that it hurts in many ways to lug anything else to a gig. bandmates also appreciate the stage space it lends, especially if you have a Rhoads clone, or acoustic piano on stage
