Yes rarely need them I suppose. We had some on my father’s boat for berthing alongside some old wharfs up north back in the day. But we mostly berth in marinas now with floating pontoons 👍

I cannot imagine the total cost of a project such as this, which confirms that the owners of these testaments of greed and selfishness have endless amounts of money that the ordinary working man could not imagine. I am not anti-free enterprise of wealth, but in a world where there is extreme poverty and hardship, it makes me wonder about some people's sense of values, ethics, and morals.

The ordinary working man has the abilities to better their positions in life if they apply themselves. Most people don't have the drive or ambition. Only YOU can make it happen.

@ I totally favour free enterprise and the rewards of creating wealth. I did it. But in my opinion, there should be limits. Who needs more than $1,000,000.00 a year? Should there be such a thing as billionaires buying votes and members of the high court? Level the playing field and give a leg-up to those starting out to create wealth.
