At 14:20 there is what appears to be a door on the starboard side of the Portuguese bridge maybe leading down to the staterooms? If anybody has any information about I appreciate it. Also I'm wondering how many fresh lobsters you get for 50 gallons of fresh water?
@robashton86065 жыл бұрын
I believe that leads down to the side deck rather than the interior. For some reason, probably increased cabin space, there's only side decking on the starboard side of the boat.

I'm curious as to how long of a tender you could possibly fit on a 63. I've looked around at many passage makers but always feel like I want a larger tender than the 60'-70' range can offer.
@rykehuss34354 жыл бұрын
On Nordhavn website, the 63 model has technical drawing that has a tender in it. Based on that I calculated the tender in the drawing to be 480cm long (outboard included). That is a big tender for a 63 footer.

Great video but feel compelled to point out a flag etiquette error. Mexican flag was flown to port in this video. When a US flagged vessel is outside the US, the courtesy flag should be hoisted on the starboard halyard.
@jeffrobdine5 жыл бұрын
I think you're right on, as a matter of courtesy, it is appropriate to fly the flag of a foreign nation on your boat when you enter and operate on its waters. There are only a limited number of positions from which flags may be displayed. Therefore, when a flag of another nation is flown, it usually must displace one of the flags displayed in home waters. However, it is hoisted only after the appropriate authorities have granted clearance. Until clearance is obtained, a boat must fly the yellow"Q" flag. All charter boats should carry the national flags of neighboring islands as well as the yellow flag, in case charterers want to visit those islands. The courtesy flag is flown at the boat's starboard spreader, whether the United States ensign is at the stern staff, or flown from the leech. If there is more than one mast, the courtesy flag is flown from the starboard spreader of the forward mast. As a side note, some authorities are not amused at all if you fly their courtesy flag using an old, raggy flag. Some will even fine you for disrespect! It happened to a friend of mine who was chartering in Turkey.

To bad... why not support local markets instead of make everything in China? Tragic... and for what? To reduce the price a couple of percents for a boat only possible to buy for one in ten million people and obviously not even possible at all to buy through honest "work" in the country I live.
