Great video! Good to see other NordicTrack owners sharing their knowledge to make our treadmills that much better. What model treadmill/incline trainer do you have? Looks brand new as I still see the plastic on the sides. Thanks again for sharing. Will try out that privileged mode hack on mine. I was fortunate to somehow get in to my privileged mode. Dude-thank you for your help. It’s bull shit paying $2,800 for commercial grade recumbent bike-only to discover ifit owns the rights to the pad included on the machine and dictates what the end consumer can do-if anything-with it. It’s wrong. Thank you for your help letting me us the browser on it.

What about a screen saver? Or when you put display on sleep modes... basically it just turns off ... and I have to unplug it to turn screen back on.Trying to see if there’s a way to turn on screen from sleep/off via pressing or get a way to make a functional screen saver vs sleep/off mode?

Yes there is a restore but if you close the apps it will go to the ifit. Ill check later and let you know more how. Thanks for watching.

thanks for sharing this video. very useful. Do you know if there is any app that can replace ifit on nordictrack machine? I find it useful with a membership but without the membership, the treadmill becomes way too basic (e.g. no interval run etc)

Well that's one of the reasons I made this video. I don't know of any other machine program. I figured maybe watching movies or listing to music would cut the boring. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the video but after I downloaded Spotify on my new s22i...it only plays until the workout starts, then pauses. I switch back and it plays again but then my iFit app crashes. Any fixes to watch the trainer and still listen to Spotify?

It will change depending on the app. If you exit it should automatically return. Go to the Ifit app and it should change back.

This no longer works. iFit has conspired with Nordictrack to force you to call iFit and get a code to access privileged mode.

I'm not sure. When did you purchase your machine? Your trying to access what's called privilege mode. I'm not sure if the access has changed since making the video. If its not working I would suggest you call Nordictrak and see how get get your treadmill into this mode. I had an issue with updating my machine. When tapping the screen make sure your paying attention to the bottom of the screen. The method I show will give you access and also denies. It sounds like your doing everything correctly.

I lost my volume on Ifit after I did what you did.

I'm not sure why you lost volume after. You can always reset your machine back to normal and try again.

Some downloads won’t work for me. It says it’s not compatible or wants to be installed through the google play store

Correct. Some apps need play store to be downloaded. Do not add play store to the tablet. Whatever your searching for try finding the apk with google search. Example. (KZbin apk download).

So why do you advise again the Play Store? Loading random apks could induce security risks with malware. Plus apps update all the time.

@@mcgong I do not advise adding play store as it will make your machine unstable. I actually added the play store in the beginning and it made the machine unstable. I then proceeded to factory reset the machine and it fixed the issues by erasing play store. Do not add. Thanks.
