Screws for crossbar doesn't fit won't go all the way down. Many others have the same problem. Should you force them using a power drill?

I don’t think a power drill will help the cause. It will I kept strip the bolt/screws all together and you won’t be able to use them. The screws should fit. Start but inserting the screws for a few twists to get them started. Once all the screws have been installed I steered, then tighten them all.

I have a similar issue. The screws for the crossbar don't go all the way down

Same issue here, the cross bar screw don't go in all the way, what did you'll do?

I have one-sided problems when you do the crossbar step. The right side seems pretty solid. The left side, you put the screws in the holes and start to tighten them and it is still a bit loose. Something is slightly off about the left handlebars, but not willing to resort to power drill quite yet.

Hi. At the risk of being stereotypical (!) i am stuck at the first stage - putting the uprights on. I can’t get the bolts to go into the holes. They keep misthreading and getting jammed,and they are only a couple of mm’s in at that point. Any tips?

Hi Sharon! 👋🏾 The first thing I would do is make sure you are using the correct bolts. If you aren’t using the correct one then the bolt may not fully bottom out. Next, if you are using the correct bolt, only finger tighten the bolts to begin and don’t fully tighten them until the very very end after all steps are complete. Don’t worry, there is supposed to be some resistance when finger tightening. When fully tightening the bolts, use a ratchet so that the bolt head is fully gripped when turning. Just try your best to insert the bolts straight down, directly into the receiving hole. If you insert them even at a slight angle then they will jam. I hope this helps!
