Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Haul + Try On!

Thank you for the sneak peak of the Nordstom sale. I am a card holder and I was thinking of heading to the Natick mall tomorrow and check it out. I love the Ted Baker dress on you. Just go into town (Boston) and go out for dinner with your hubby. Also, there are some nice restaurants on the South Shore worthy of that dress. Yesterday, I wore a sleeveless black printed jump suit to a restaurant in Framingham and I was a bit over dressed, but my husband loved the look, he hardly ever notices what I have on. He made a point to say something nice about my outfit. So now I am convinced that I will wear my good clothes, (and jewelry) and not keep them in my closet waiting for that special occasion. I am learning to wear my good things all the time now, from another fashion KZbinr named Christie Ressel. I have so many nice pieces from work, that I really didn't know what to do with them, now that I am unemployed or retired (whatever...). But according to Christie, she says just wear them with other more casual items and make it work. She is right about that. I have so many nice (work) jackets, I am planning on wearing them with jeans and a tee shirt. So wear that Ted Baker dress and enjoy it! Don't wait for the wedding. :-) BTW, before I was laid off, I went shopping. I still have items with sales tags on them, but I will get to them and wear them all soon enough and with pleasure.

I used to get excited for the Anniversary sale, but the last two years were a disappointment with all their Internet glitches and cancelled orders. Hope this year is better. I do like that they're starting at 12:30 pm.... The last few years they've had things sell out on the first day of presale. Just ends up looking like a big promotion done by all the influencers but there are no items available to buy. And then it drags on forever. Hopefully this year is better! Loved your choices. Might finally get that barefood dreams cardigan - love the light grey color they have this year. Thanks for another great video!

Great video. It’s like having my very own personal shopper. I now have a list of several clothing items to try. Nordstrom’s is a large store and can sometimes be a bit overwhelming when looking for clothes. The brown suede jacket is a must have! I bought the Vince Camuto shoes in neutral last year. Pretty and comfortable shoes and will go with the brown suede jacket. Love your taste in tops. I am counting the days until i can shop till I drop! 😊 Hope you make more Nordstrom’s videos during the sale. Please also include what you order that wasn’t available in the store. Thank you.

Fine Merino wool is normally not itchy. I can’t wear other wool but Merino is fine. I have a Merino thermal top that I’m wearing at the moment (Australian snow fields) and it’s so warm and soft.

Wow! What a haul! I just love the cz necklace. It looks so lovely on you. Christmas in July.....in case anyone was wondering how that came about. Those of us that live in Australia and long for a cold Christmas (I was born and raised in Canada) will throw a Chrissy party in July as it's one of the coldest months of the year here (southern states). I have to drop you a "thank you". I'm 46 and single and I stopped caring much about my hair/makeup etc. about 10 years ago because I have always felt that women over 30 are just past it and there is no point. I've been so depressed feeling like I'm just stuck being an old lady. And then I found your videos. LOL. You are 11 years older than me and so enthusiastic and eager about all of this stuff, and you still look great. I also notice that when you are trying things on, I would think "oh wow, she needs to get that a size or two bigger" and you say that you are going to size DOWN. I think this is another place where I feel like my clothes should just swallow me up because I'm not worthy any more. So anyway, thank you. BTW, that Ted Baker dress is not businessy at all. It's completely appropriate to wear to a wedding.

You are looking extra toned and fit, all the outfits looked great.....but don't keep the sweater with the wool if it bothers you. I was lucky enough to get the Nuface trinity on QVC with all attachments and 4 tubes of products on easy pay all for $315.00. The Caslon plaid shirt, I was able to get at Target same color for $15.99. All of the things you purchased were awesome. 5 hours at Nordstroms Wow. Just wanted to share , my sister was the optometrist complaining of dry eye and they told her to stop using and oil or grease based eye makeup remover, basically that it clogs the glands. My own eyes were feeling a lot worse recently and since hearing that I stopped using the Clinique Take the Day Off and have switched to Bioderma Micellar Water. My eyes are 100% improved and I am still using an eyelash growth serum.

Thank you for the great info. I had the oil expressed from my eyelids a few months ago because they were clogged. My optometrist said the likely cause was my staring at a computer screen for long periods of time without blinking (I work in IT). I put a warm compress on my eyes routinely to help, but might switch out the Clinique balm too. My eye health is so important as I age which is why I won’t use lash serum nor tight

Have you tried the T3 hairdryer? I got one for Xmas. I LOVE IT. Smooths and my hair is much shinier. I’ve used the Avon anew lash serum and it’s great. No itching, great price and comparable to Rapid Lash.

The long coat (I think of those as a parka) will be perfect for a cold winter ... I appreciate having my thighs covered ... it does make a difference in staying warm! Loved the cross over pink sweater style shirt! Put a camisole under that and it's ready to go! I have a collection of camis for that reason!
