I was surprised the driver didn't start moving as soon as the train cleared, scraping the gate across the roof of his car. I've seen cars stop at gated crossing so that the gate came down between their windshield and antenna. Then they decide to pull back bending the gate and antenna until the antenna finally snapped off and the gate went whipping back into position. I swear there's some kind of invisible linkage between cars and their drivers - when the car's transmission is engaged something disengages in the driver's brain.
