On August Thirteenth I set up along New Jersey Transit's Main/Bergan county line in Waldwick New Jersey for the evening rush. I was positioned at the WC switch tower which was built in 1886 to control multiple crossovers and the switches on both ends of the yard. The tower was later closed with the advent of Centralized Train Control. The tower remains today as a museum with a dedicated group of volunteers maintaining the tower. First up was Norfolk Southern's Hillburn based local H55. H55 was returning to Hillburn yard from a trip to Bay state milling in Clifton. After that I caught numerous NJT and Metro north trains powered by an assortment of ALP45s, PL42s, GP40s, and F40s. I hope you enjoy the video! =)
