I JUST POSTED A VIDEO OF STREET DRIFT FAIL ❤
@botiduran344 Жыл бұрын
What you do in this video is very similar to the way Finnish rallye drivers use to drive the old rear wheel drive at the time, controlling the weight, the balance, powerband, grip, etc with subtle touches of throtle, brake and steering... to me, this is an art and is pure driving control. I enjoyed a lot this one. Thanks

Drifting is so much about this, that's why I find rallying and drifting very similar in sideways mechanics

11:20 great cut to show the bathroom is in the middle of the track. The green car is peeling out from the same location and you can see the vending machine from the start of the previous shot. Really good edit!

I absolutely love rain drifting, it's a hell of a lot of fun feeling the rear end of your vehicle loose traction while you lightly feather the gas pedal through a corner.

07:06 Nice. You can hear the change in grip level from the sounds of his shoes scraping the asphalt.

The first 4 or so years of me drifting was no ebrake. The S13 I had at the time didn’t have a functioning one. I was young and just wanted to drive so I never cared about swapping cables. I’m very glad I drove those years without one because the amount of things I’ve learned without it made me such a better driver.
@liamcosgrave5410 Жыл бұрын
Almost exactly the same story as myself although I had an s14 haha. The only time I felt I needed a handbrake was when I started competition. I know a lot of people who can drift fine with a handbrake but put them in something without one and they look like beginners!
@Spooky-ek3kf Жыл бұрын
@@liamcosgrave5410 it can definitely be sketchy trying to tandem without one but it’s doable for sure. If you’re competing it’s 100000% needed lmao

We need tracks like this in America that actually let people on to drift. I don’t mind paying for this sort of open drift day, but what usually happens is you end up waiting in the Q forever for like 10 runs maybe. Street drifting it is.

That reminds me how Dave Mirra in Props bmx explained what "pro walk" is. Pro walk i checking the freshly arrived skateark/trails etc. by foot, to see the gaps, transisions, hazards overall- deciding the tricks do to, gaps to clear or just decide to ride, or left in tour bus, watching the others guys have fun. Yeah, miss the bmx days... I think it was Mirra... Roadfools 9 with Dave didnt riding for first 3 days? anyway- same thing, different name
