For example, since so many players consider Persistence to be important but also consider perks like High Alert to be important, they now have to choose between Persistence or High Alert.

A lot of phillipines tryhard do this, cannot deny it. I was using my for fun loadout, no persistent and meta. Each time I slapped their ass, they switched over 100 times. How I know ? I killed same fella and always noticed different gun and when I died from them, they used different perks as well. That when I realise they don't want to lose and being toxic to thier team.

Normal tryhard (me) -never uses meta guns, always finds a way to defeat the enemy with their favorite gun -swears to never use persistence. If willing for high scorestreaks like goliath, sentry gun, etc then sweat for it. -never screams at the mic when teammates are uncoordinated -despite clearly losing, keep fighting. Quitting will just demote you even more, and your teammates will suffer more -only uses melee in intense CQC gunfights, especially against extremely annoying shotgunners -always fights for the OBJ to not get pushed back, because teammates can focus on kills and only on it (I am from garena btw, the most toxic server due to trash talkers, meta, thermite, gas nade, persistence and melee abusers)

I don't fit with any of that. I use the guns that I like, some seasons the guns are meta, others they aren't. I generally use a mix of guns and vulture is probably the only perk I use all the time. I like using my own guns and only really switch once in a while when I pick up enemy weapons. If I die, it depends on why I died if I switch to another loadout. If its because something stupid I did, I'll keep the same loadout. If it's because someone is sniping and shot me across the map, I'll use a sniper too. Generally I'm using legendary weapons and cool skins so I know I'm going to be a target and adapt accordingly. So if I have three snipers hunting me, I'll switch to something short range and sneak up taking as many out as possible before they can respond with their slower weapons. If its three players hunting with a variety of weapons generally I'll switch between my Sniper and have my shorty too.

I'm a normal player and I like guns like SKS and snipers, but I like LMGs too. I don't use an aggressive style like run&gun, I like staying in a good spot and changing every 4/5 kills. This is a good tactic for new players, but this style is suitable for everybody. I did some nukes too, but remember to be ready if you meet a run&gun enemy.
