At 12:01 the fear of Titus teacher was Titus himself falling into chaos. He greatly feared what would happen if Titus has fallen into chaos for someone who knows NO FEAR. Then the daemon of Tzeentch decided to finish off Titus the same way and at 13:04 this daemon realizes that this man is different, then realized this is HIS FEAR. He breaks his timestop magik out of fear and desperation but it was too late.

Gotta give Titus his props not simply for his courage or fearlessness, but above all else? His patience. Literally EVERYONE other than Calgar has been suspicious of him for no other reason than thinking "Nobody is this good or devoted". Be it jealousy, envy, or their own fears of him Titus keeps proving himself again and again and again and again. That's something few would be able to do without eventually going "Oh shut up and let me just do my damn job." Which is what they would love to hear since they would then be able to finally put him down. Such is the ways of the Imperium.

What makes Titus so interesting to me is that he plays on almost a "gamer" view of the universe. Fear isn't just a thing a horrifying creature instills in you. It can be an Imperium preacher putting fear in you that if you don't pray to the emperor every day the demons will eat your soul. Because Titus doesn't feel fear. He has no doubts in his convictions. All the accusations and issues he had with his battle brothers have been their own insecurities.

depends of how old he was when he recruited Titus ultramarine initiation takes around 8 years or so, and their studs are for 50 years of service, so they could perfectly have the same amount

Its hard to tell but I know Titus has 4 silver studs that show he has 200+ years of service. If Metaurus has 4 gold studs he would be over 400 years old. Although this varies from chapter to chapter so that may not be the case. He could have been in stasis for a time or maybe 4 is the max for ultramarines.
