I think this is probably my favorite Meg review. And she’s right, I remember the first Lamborghini I ever seen in person and remember thinking wow that’s a lot smaller then I thought. Another thing that was way more apparent in this video is the stark on off of both the brakes and the accelerator. While some like that aspect I don’t but at least were I ever to drive one similar I’d know going in what to expect.

Great review. I showed snippets to my wife since she is of similar opinion about cars and thought she could relate, particularly as to the emotional age of supercar owners. However, as a Corvette owner, she would extend that age to any sports car owner. She rides in the Corvette fairly reluctantly. These reviews are awesome though. They are quite unique and Meg's sarcasm is priceless.

Those colors would be boring on a Lamborghini but you never see them on Ferraris so it’s exciting. Then I see a Lamborghini in red and all of a sudden it’s the most exciting color because you just never see them in that color anymore.

These lightweight versions of high-performance cars are pure genius from a marketing perspective. They charge substantially extra and give you less. And if you want some of that back which they took out, usually they can do that. Of course it will cost extra… if you're 20 years old these extra punishing versions might be enjoyable; but most of the time that's not who's buying them

And she's right about the tropes: Ferraris are about panache, style, and the reserved display of affluence, a car for connoisseurs and purveyors of fine art, wine and sport yachting... Lamborghinis are like riding a purple unicorn up 5th Avenue with flames airbrushed on the hide and mustard stuck up it's ass. Ferraris are the clean, goody-two-shoes girl you bring home to meet your mother. Lamborghinis are the hot, tatted-up rocker chic you meet in dive bars who is equally likely to share a bottle of whisky with you or hit you over the head with it..

I wonder if the tiny frunk is the same volume that was called out in the old Le Mans rule requirement that a car had to have luggage space of certain dimensions in order to be eligible. (I’m older than dirt so I was around and following the Le Mans wars of the ‘60’s). (No, I wasn’t at Woodstock, at least as far as I can remember.) In photos of Ford GT’s and Ferraris of that period you will see in the rear both a spare tire and a simple empty box the size of a small suitcase that are there to comply with the rules. It would be cool if an engineer at Lamborghini said let’s make the frunk space the same volume as a sort of Easter Egg inside joke tribute.
