I was born in 1981 and it already had been built. I have grown up and become an architect but this building still be interesting , it is not obsolete. And Mr. Foster , as an equivalent of modern tendencies in architecture, also still be on a wave .

This building is beautiful, I see it most days, though night time is when it comes alive from a pedestrian point of view. I work in the town as a cleaner but my training as a graphic designer makes me want to come clean the Willis Building instead, it would be so satisfying, bringing it back to new everyday. We asked to come in for one project or another during my study days but were not allowed so ended up exploring nearby, Brutalist concrete monsters instead. People take this building for granted but it is still relevant.

Fantastic, he has the same sparkle in his eyes today as he did in the 81. But how he changed the Lancashire accent must have been a big challenge as building that tower, cause I have been in Australia for 30 years and my accent this still there

Norman Foster is still one of architects and thinkers around today, even at the age of 85.
