Can you start asking a question, it's a tough 1. If the P is an informant, then who was calling the shots. Why do so many Cali P's end up on public shows. You'll never see A O.A. do this. The Bikeriders is the closest you will get. #1 is protecting the culture, it's not the same culture as Cali. This is a culture we grew up in, love, and don't wanna see changed. Not speaking for A O.A just myself. Make that very clear. Sylo but I speak for me. Is 81 a Gov Black Op?

There are clips online from an interview Norman did and his explanation for the teeth is that he didn't want to look like Daryl Dixon in the movie, so the teeth were a way to drastically change his look.

I think Reedus said that the teeth were an artistic liberty taken and I think he also said that its supposed to be a sort of endearing joke for motorcyclists of the time, something about them being seen as grimy and filthy by the general public. Either way, irl funny sonny sounds like a cool dude and I loved how Reedus Played the character in the film.

I have never been in an outlaw club. I am a full patched member of a CofC recognized group and what I really liked about this movie was how it showed how an original club started to become something very different as the club grew and expanded from it originals. That seemed to me to be spot on and a very interesting part of the story.

I just saw Bikeriders, but just saw it today with my great friend! I loved it told my story as an ol’lady in that time period in Fairbanks, Alaska & my friend was the East Coast!! It was a beautiful time in my life livin’ the life sitting on the backseat with my ol’man. ❤❤ I thk he did great job of making those days seem real. It wasn’t supposed to be another SOA movie. I loved the way he did the the sets from the TV (even down to the show “Bewitched “ the clocks , the clothes the music 🎶 my friend & I were shaking own ft & singing the songs etc ❤❤😂. I was on the streets since I was 12 yrs old & been on the outside of several Clubs from that Club to Tx Club to AZ after I moved there after Sonny stripped patches from a family member who rode with that Club that went to jail instead of joining Club. He has since died but I learned a lot. 😂. I loved the days of hanging out with friends, getting food ready for the Club I to was it by the 16:36 sound of roaring engines in my ear my arms around my Ol man & the wind in my hair. The sound of the bikes rolling by my street now brings both envy & great times gone by. I’m now almost 72 & alone but this movie today left me feeling Great !! I rarely go to bike events now that I don’t do tattoo contests at my age & even those contests have changed everyone has tattoos and not the old school ones that I had done many yrs ago. lol. Women didn’t get as many tattoos has I have. It’s fun to run into bikers who remember me from those days just saying’. 🌹❤️‼️Times they have changed & even will continue to that’s just how it is😂😢. So I’ll quit rambling on about the “old day’s but I think it was an awesome movie the dialogue was stray from the book. I give it a 💯❤. & so did my good friend & he borrowed my book to read I was writing this while George was on. Sounded like he enjoyed it also Always thks for a great interview with him again🎉❤. ‼️

The awful teeth were purely Norman Reedus' idea. He wanted that look for his character's representation on screen. The prosthetics were made and he went to shops and bars etc. with the teeth before shooting to make himself comfortable with the prosthetics on and also to just fck with people 😂 in an interview he said that he wanted to go in the opposite direction in terms of looks because "there is already a lot of handsome men in the movie" .

Bike Rider movie well acted. This movie took place also 20 years after the Hollister rally that changed MC's. Even in the 60"s still easy just a start a MC just before the Hollister rally. In the movie the original members didn't like the younger members ways. Tom Hardy played a good leader. Austin Butler character want both his love. He ended leaving the club and got the woman. If the Hollister rally staged autograph didn't hope how would MC's be today? I think they changed slower. Growing up in 70's we rode mini anywhere meeting different riders. We also would jump our bicycles like Evil Kneivel. We all got along. I wish I could have met the real Funny Sonny and had a beer with him. I think Funny Sonny would have like the days before Hollister All clubs got a long drink beer together, race bikes for beer. When my dad was young he heard a pack of bikes coming. One bike came over the hill first. The rider was stand on his seat. Than the other 11 bikes came over hill. A sent to see my dad said. There is another bike rider that's in the Sturgis museum hall of frame. Look up Gloria Struck. She started riding when women couldn't ride. She never gave up . She couldn't did hotel or motel room cause she rode a bike. Label an outcast She I guess rode up to 90 years old. The later years Gloria rose with her daughter. Would like to here more stories from George and Old John. Especially bikers before the Hollister rally. P.S. maybe cool places to ride to.

I'm not a biker by any means. However, I grew up living in trabuco canyon. Every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday was Cooks Corner. I've been going there since I was an infant. I have 1 Hells Angels story . I was about 8 years old playing pool by myself. This guy came up, in a hells angel vest, with Vice President on it , saying " okay , my table now" I didn't know what they were, I'm an 8 year old little girl. So I said " you can play me for it. " he goes " I'm not playing no little girl " bartender even said , if she isn't done, you gotta play her for it. So we play . 20 minutes go by and here comes another guy with a vest , slams $20 on the table and says " I bet she kicks your ass. " laughing. So I took the bet. There was 1 stripe and the 8 ball left. I called " 8 ball corner pocket" sunk my shot , grabbed the 20 and got a burger before rejoining my mom and grandma outside . About an hour later those 2 guys walk out and over to our table. My mom and grandma are sitting bricks. The VP looks at my mom and says " you got one hell of a kid there" and leaves. Every so often I notice a member riding behind my car . No way they remember me , but it's almost a comforting sight . My grandmother was also at the hotel the Angels and Mongles threw down at in Laughlin.

Norman Reedus brought the idea of the teeth. I saw in another interview with him that he said he wanted to change his look and not look like Daryl Dixon. It took me a few seconds to recognize him when he first rode up in the movie.

Sose, always enjoy your interviews. People criticize the storytelling device having a female tell the story, but in it’s defense it tracks in the sense that a member, a man wasn’t going to talk about the club and tell their story to an outsider. That’s not how this works. It makes sense that a wife of a prominent member that wanted her husband to get out would divulge all kinds of details that would provide enough information to tell a compelling story.
