I requested The Hives like 2 months ago, and today that request has been fulfilled. Thank you, Mr. Agnesi

By far the coolest double cut solid body style that Gibson/Epiphone ever made. Epiphone needs to start making this shape again! And not just one -off reissues or signatures but in the regular line. Very cool guitar

Awesome. The change when you went to the middle position was pretty damn cool. There was something about that tone. When you went to the bridge it all became clear. That's one helluva guitar!

I saw Thin Lizzy with Gary Moore in the lineup. The opening act was AC/DC with Bon Scot. Third row center at Royal Oak Music Theater! While Bon was carrying Angus on his shoulders down the aisle, Malcolm unzipped his pants and flashed his bits at some girls. They cut AC/DC's power and the stage lights - the band takes it out on some equipment, and marches off. Good times!! RIP, Phil, Gary, Bon, Malcolm.

John Maloney The age probably mellowed them a bit.. My 76 Firebird has mellowed a bit
@Rrgr56 жыл бұрын
The Epiphone's were a little better, which made those guitars more desirable, after sometime Gibson try to get a sound closer to an single coil with their minihumbuckers, that's why they weren't that successful, now days they are going back to the 60's humbucker like sound, brighter as usual.

In the back warehouse area, Mark states that this guitar is the Epiphone "equivalent" of Gibson's Les Paul Special. I have to disagree. To my thinking it has more in common with the Gibson SG Standard of the period w/ tune-o-matic bridge, virbrola, hum bucking pickups, large fingerboard inlays, etc.
