As a 35 year old when I was growing up in the 1990`s I seen films/sitcoms made between the 1950`s-70`s which always fascinated me (mainly the cars) on what life was like in bygone times. The only good things about today are the advance in medicine & technology but that`s about it. Ever since we moved into the millennium it`s been mostly downhill with reality TV , fake celebs, political correctness gone too far, drugs & a spineless corrupt government that doesn`t have a clue.

I still, when the mood takes me, do his walk where his arms swing in tandem with his steps, left foot forward left arm swings forward, right foot right arm instead of the opposing natural walk of left foot right arm, right foot left arm as you would if you were marching. It’s actually quite hard to keep up. Get a lot of puzzled looks as people can’t work out what’s wrong.

This is so true! Me and my wife were discussing the same thing when we last watched The Good Life with the amount of cars out in the street you could see about 3! Even back in the 80s when I was a kid down the street I lived there was only 5 - 7 cars at the most. It makes me think of Brooks, the old man from the Shawshank Redemption. He's been in prison so long, his line in the movie is "I saw a car once now they're everywhere"
