I loved it as a kid growing up watching Norman Wisdom films & the carry On`s with people like Kenneth Williams plus all the T.V variety shows with the ilk of Bob Monkhouse, Les Dawson,Tommy Cooper then a little later Kenny Everett, I know after posting this I will remember many more , these are the few who immediately spring to mind. A great era of British T.V talent leaving us all the gift of happy memories, May they rest in peace

Where is this kind of entertainment gone?? Instead we have to suffer Z rate, so called celebrities in low grade television shows about inane absolute crap. This is evolution? I think we're going backwards not forwards! These guys had to really work hard for their laughs and viewing figures... but now it's... well... I can't go on... thats it from me!!!

They say Charlie Chaplin was the funniest man was ever been well I like to tell you Charlie Chaplin said himself funniest man he's ever seen was the Great Norman Wisdom you cannot argue with that. That. Is. A fact Norman Wisdom is I live in legend no one honest Earth comes anywhere near him is no funny comedians around now they are crap the second funniest man wherever had was Ronnie Barker Freddie Starr Michael Crawford Jim Davidson and David Jason Les Dawson Tommy Cooper and the King of compare Bruce Forsyth they are all great and funny men as I said comedians around now are load of crap
