Wonderful discussion and so many excellent questions and answers. I too answered many of these questions in my proposal for a city of the future, presented as an urban planning model in 2014. I called it the GCoT model by Marcus Busby. Hope to meet Norman Foster one day.

hi from Mexico. Yes I agree with what was said at around the 09:40 mark re: that cities be more welcoming to those who have been priced out of them. I think there will be a period of deflation, in fact there must be due to a new economic realm of "micromarkets" being born out of this pandemic disaster, which simply have reshaped how people do business, how people ship or will ship goods in the future, and this is of course considering all the factors at play in 2022, working together to create a new realm. The 15 minute city I think is the new functional reality, with bike trails, walking paths etc replacing polluting cars, and EV's etc also amalgamating into the picture. Working from home will continue of course, and city areas will be reshaped into functional meeting places, and pristine parks. Great vid! We have some similar also, but more geared towards climate. :-D

It is only when 'we' become uncomfortable with where we are...we will do what is necessary... to move to where 'we' ought to be. To get that 'Balance' point requires an open ended and honest discussion about whose interests are presented as a priority. Thanks for the start of that debate.
