I definitely agree she needs to work on marketing herself and getting out there in the public more (i.e. social media) bc that's a huge part of building fan engagement these days. Meg, Chloe x Halle, Doja Cat grew huge fan bases so quickly and loyally in part of the effort they put into personal live streams and social media antics. Doja Cat was a live streaming queen and look how far it's taken her. The best performance of the night, with only a transparent box as a prop. Normani is beyond captivating on stage, it’s obvious that she puts a lot of thought into EVERYTHING that she does. Nothing about this performance was boring, people are just used to be distracted by other nonsense. They don’t know when a true performer is on stage, if there aren’t flashing lights, props, and upbeat music. Mani and those amazing dancers filled the stage with crisp movements. I didn’t breathe or blink until the performance was over. Every time I see her perform, my eyes never leave the screen. Her whole demeanor changes when she’s on stage. That’s how you know she’s a natural performer, always poised and classy with a dash of sexy. I’ve seen her perform live twice and her mic was always ON.

Normani really is talented. The vocals and the dance.... Ti at the end was on the wild side for 15secs ... I don't think it deserved that much out rage. She deserves more than she is getting from the industry.

I hav bin praying she makes it up to this real level ...thx to Normani..u really made it lov yah...indeed they shud give her more than a million pounds

Only reason I can undetrstand SOME of the rage is because if it was Lil Nas, he would have been bashed left & right. So double standard is real. However-and I really need the people to get this-IT'S NOT HER FAULT.

@@joshuabauman1431 they definitely are. You can clearly hear when she’s out of breath and her voice over the prerecorded track. But to the untrained ear, I guess it sounds like lipsync

the thing these bashers never seem to understand is how hard the choreography is to be performed, and the funniest part is majority of them aren't even dancers but literally coming to normani. 🤡

Praise God for normani this effort hasn't been seen since the 90's getting me excited about the future of rhythm and blues, I hope she inspires others to step up ther bumbaclart act and start a revival of them good times because I can't keep playing old school bangers, Beyonce is great performance but I need variety in my life and I'm sure you all agree
