Normcore Vs. 1ZPRESSO K-Plus manual hand grinder

Recently I bought the 1Zpresso K-Max and ran some very light roasted beans through it, about 4-5 doses of 20 grams each, for espresso. On a calibrated K-Max their guide suggests that espresso is between 3-4 on the dial and this light roast required 2.5. This light roast stalled a Niche Zero and the roaster said that their cafe commercial grinders had difficulty with it. But we were able to get through the grinding by, in a sitting position with the knees apart, placing the grinder on the knee in almost horizontal position and working through it. It was fun and the coffee was sweet with no bitterness or aftertaste. Definitely good enough for my taste at this stage. The K-Max is a precision instrument that is a joy to use.

The 1ZPRESSO Q2 seems like a better competitor for the Normcore, considering the very similiar price and size

@hoonscoffee when you say 10 clicks on the KPlus grinder, you mean position 10 on the dial, not 10 clicks from absolute 0 ie, burr touch. correct?
