Just to be able to play any instrument is a blessing itself.

What you said is very true man, guitar is very much a personal thing that brings joy to so many people, regardless of how good you are on the instrument. It's one of those unexplainable joys in life that you can't elaborate or explain to people who dont get it. It makes life worth living to me and only the people who play will get what I'm talking about. It's so much better than being a vapid, materialistic person eager to buy the next iPhone or whatever, to buy and own a collection of guitars, things that you really care about and bring joy to you. I don't own many guitars, just an Ibanez AZ and Pia and I know that I will love and cherish playing them my entire life.

30 years of playing guitar, has taught me how to play the guitar. like literally, if you spend enough time doing something you will eventually become decent at it.

Dave Gilmour was my inspiration to when i started playing in 1983. You are right about buying guitars, stop when you have a nice number off guitars!

For me, it was 1976, and I was 11 years old. I received my first LP, Fly Like an Eagle by Steve Miller. Guitars will come and go, but the rewards of playing will always be there. Other members in my band always want to play out and actually think that we will make money. Personally, I don't care one way or the other if we play out or not. As long as we play.

"Guitar is so much more than getting on stage and impressing a bunch of people". 👍👍 I completely agree. I am a pure hobby guitar player, still more or less a beginner, with no professional ambition whatsoever. For me, the most important things are to have joy and fun playing the guitar and to improve over time on the instrument. So it is a kind of enjoyable journey, that fortunately never ends (well as long as I am alive😁). And if you have a good teacher or good lessons (great courses on the internet nowadays) and keep practicing, you will become better and better and that feels great. Of course you need some diligence, discipline and patience (very important😀) but you should also not forget to have fun as well. Playing guitar, imho should be enjoyable for everyone, so I would like to wish great fun and joy to everyone who plays the guitar, no matter the skill level. Wonderful video, thank you very much!!

I started playing guitar when I was 13 years old (I'm 61 now), I played with 18 on the street for 5 years (and earned a lot of money), I participated in two professional recordings - one unsuccessful and suddenly ..... I've been dying to play. For years. I have kept my acoustics though. One 6-string and one 12-string. Years ago the 12-string died and it was really like a heart attack. About 3 years ago I bought an electric guitar, but the inspiration has not come with it. In addition, the mast is bent. It still works, but not as well as I would like it to. This year I bought the Ibanez FRH10N and I love it. And now I'm waiting for a Harley Benton Amarok 7 BKNT. And it's a great guitar. Using a Boss brand amplifier. What else does a human need 😂😂😂😂😂 Don't forget your KZbin video 🤗👍

Nice video. Personally, the most gratifying experience is playing different guitars and seeing how and what you're inspired to play.

I stopped playing guitar for 14 years. I got back this year at 28 years old and am better at playing than I've ever been.

It’s the connection with the wood, that has been aged; which has seen sunshine and sunsets through ages. That inspires one’s soul to express itself. Though indeed true that God and the devil both speaks to you in musical aspects.

I started at 14, so just hit 30 years of playing this year. In those three decades I’ve learned. . . . I still suck at guitar 😂

Playing a musical instrument is a huge responsibility. Both God and Satan speak directly to the human soul through sound. Be mindful of the music you allow into your soul.

Man great and powerful statement. So true. Some of my favorite music I only listen to when I’m in a certain headspace. Not necessarily dark, but invokes intense emotion. It could be because where I was in my life when I first got into a band/artist. Hearing it will take me right back there, and I have to make sure that’s where I want to be. Other stuff is so emotionally intense, I have to choose a time I can experience it. I love John Coltrane, but I’m not breaking out “A Love Supreme” when I’m firing up the grill and cracking a cold on to relax haha. But the good news is, there is plenty of awesome music for those moments when you just want to coast into a good time.

5:59 “The last time I leveled up” Utkarsh I would like to direct you to some guitar shastra. There is a man that I respect on this platform called Guthrie Trapp. He is a rising star like yourself. His style is very much rooted in Nashville. This seems like it may be quite far from your focused interest in metal. However it is such a different and well presented form of music that it may offer you some inspiration to reach that next level. At any rate if you choose to invest some time in the channel you may gain some insight into the country music scene. Mr Trapp is a very genuine person at the top of his game in a highly competitive market. His style of presentation is out of the ordinary. His storytelling and instruction do seem to resonate with a large number of people.
