Personally, I think Lando is pretty overrated because he has has so many great opportunities but he's always bottled it. If Fernando was still in McLaren at this time, he probably would already have a couple of wins or more, Personally, Piastri is more talented than Lando considering he's already won a race(even though it was a sprint)before Lando shows alot

If Lando is overated why are the leading people in F1 saying lando has joined the very elite of F1 , Max, Lewis, Alonso and Charles . I pould not have included Cahrles. I have a hot-take. Fernando isn’t maximising the Aston. Lance is just massively under-utilising the car. Evidenced by the fact he’s currently behind Russell despite George having an extra DNF.

There is no guarantee that Red Bull will be competiitve in 2026 because this is the first time they have made their own engine. Therfeore Lando is best staying at Mclaren.

I listened to your China podcast and the part about the Stroll incident demonstrated that no homework had been done prior to the podcast. I dont support hate comments. The reason why people were upset with Stroll was he accused Daniel of Brake testing him on the radio. That fact was relayed to Danni by a journalist. No mention by you. Also Stroll was not even looking at the car in front so he was late responding. He made a big error and never apologised and his team principle was scared to criticise him when it was Strolls fault 100%. Also you mentioned that Danni touched Oscar as though showing how close Danni was to Oscar. In fact he was pushed into Oscar by Stroll and caused significant damage to Oscars car also. The guy is not man enough to put his hands up and say sorry , my mistake. Most of the above facts you omitted and talked as though the incident had been blown up. It had not.

Hot take, fernando alonso is a better racing driver than lewis hamilton, given hamiltons career path he'd have 8 or more championships

Counter point, Hamilton beat Alonso in equal machinery in his rookie season. Also, part of being successful over an entire career is about making good choices throughout, Alonso has consistently made bad choices, even if he'd been offered the golden ticket at Mercedes there's no guarantee he wouldn't have fallen out with the team. I think a better comparison would be if Alonso/Hamilton had remained team mates at dominant teams then they'd probably have equal honours assuming they'd managed not to bang heads and lose championships as a result. They've both got different sets of skills, Alonso is a bit more creative (attacking/defending) whereas Hamilton is better at race management (getting the car over the line with as many points as possible). They've both put in godlike drives over the years and are of the very highest tier of racing drivers, they've also both made some real bonehead moves because ultimately, they're only human.

The other hot-take that I think might be possible is that Oscar was slightly overrated. I hope I’m wrong because I like Oscar and think he’s a really good driver. But I’m wondering if people were too quick to rush to put him in the same category of drivers with incredible Pre-F1 careers like Charles and George. And those two might be better than Oscar, full stop. And that Oscar’s F2 season’s success was slightly more luck based than George and Charles’s F2 seasons (meaning George and Charles were more impressive in F2 on merit than Oscar was). Meaning while he did win in his rookie year too. It wasn’t as impressive as what Russell & Leclerc did. Again, I really, really hope I’m wrong. But I am starting to think there might be doubts about Oscar (under the provision that he continues like this for the rest of the season).

You’re acting like I’m supposed to omit/ignore George when mentioning that those three did the same thing and only mention Charles when talking about Oscar and pretend that George didn’t do it as well.

@@gameofender4463 Piastri and Leclerc raced for the same F2 team: Prema. Their engineers went on record to say that Piastri was outright better than Leclerc…and the best young talent to enter F1 since Verstappen. Their word holds greater merit than yours. Oscar isn’t overrated. He’s just against a blisteringly fast teammate. Put rookie George or rookie Charles in that McLaren alongside Lando and they would get pummelled too.
