First person really helps you stay in the rut better. No matter how big the rut if you start sliding the rut will do absolutely nothing for you A tip to help counter the sliding is not fully tilting the right stick when turning. I feel like the ruts hold you the same as all out but with all out the ruts were thinner so actually getting in them and holding your line in them was a lot tougher. In this game the ruts are #Thick

I dont even mind the slippery ground physics I got used to it pretty quickly, the only huge complaint I have is when u case a jump or hit a whoop wrong u get sent to the moon I hope that's something that can be fixed in a patch either way I'm still having fun

It’s solid for sure just wish it felt a little more of an impact in terms of making the bike hook into it and maintain speed in the corners. Honestly I haven’t noticed much of an effect except right before some jumps if it’s a little rutty I hook into it or it takes me off course a little if I don’t take it straight on

I just don't like how none of the these non-sim games have remotely realistic crash physics. Like launching face first into a huge side pillar and you just bounce off of it and keep going? What's the point of any realism like terrain deformation if the physics don't punish you for poor riding technique? You can just case it all day long, and nothing happens. That's not how real life physics work. When you slam down on something you're not strapped to, you're gonna fly off and go over the handlebars. That's realism, do we want it it or do we not want it in these games?

I fly off the bike almost every time I case hard in this game. Its much better after the update. It's an arcade came when it comes down to it though and you do get away with some hard cases but I think it has a nice balance

There's a balance between realism and arcade. I agree that for enthusiasts this game feels unsatisfying because of these issues, and it feels too easy, but for casual players and and younger players it might just be perfect. For realism, there's always MXsim...

Yeah Reflex had the best terrain deformation to date but still I found it’s tracks boring after a bit. Without the deformation Reflex wouldn’t be anywhere near as good as it is. On the other hand Alive and Untamed had some of the best tracks imo and that’s what Legends reminds me of. Combine awesome long unique tracks with hands down my favorite first person camera in any motocross game and Legends is quickly becoming my favorite. The bikes in Legends could feel and sound better but I have no doubts most of the problems will be fixed in the near future since the game just came out.

Imo I played all out quite recently and the ruts stick way better because its easier to control the bike. Maybe if there was no sliding then we could say but the sliding is not realistic at all

I 100% agree that the sliding isn’t realistic but the game isn’t supposed to be a sim. In my opinion the sliding acts as a level of difficulty to the game making it so you have to be more careful on the throttle while you are in ruts and in corners. Yes it would be nice if the traction slider in the game got rid of it completely so that people who want to full send into ruts and corners can have fun but even as it is now I think you can increase the traction enough to be able to hold yourself in big ruts pretty easily. The sliding never goes away but I did find myself not noticing it as much when I was playing in first person.
