I love these kind of videos. Your speech is clear and relatively slow which makes it really good for Norwegian learning. There are barely any Norwegian 'day in the life' videos with English and Norwegian subtitles out there so this is great😊
@AnotherBradGuy7 жыл бұрын
I love it! I can test myself on how much I actually understand by turning off the subtitles, as well as get a better grasp of how the language actually sounds spoken instead of just in pieces!

How is that even possible? Learning a Language pretty much fluently in 2 months?
@Noksus3 жыл бұрын

I learned english by watching all kinds of content on youtube and TV. English is available anytime anywhere. (Of course some theoretical context, reading and writing, is also necessary) I wish it was possible to learn other languages in that natural functional way. Like babies just observe and listen to their mothertongue for two years in all contexts before they slowly start speaking. Your videos contribute to fulfilling that. Keep on making them please, I'm a fan.

My grandmother was full-blooded Norwegian. Her parents traveled from Norway as single people in late 1800’s to settle in the United States. They met in South Dakota & married & started a farm in Coleman, SD. My grandmother was born in 1904 in the United States. Norwegian was her first language. She didn’t learn English until she went to school. She had a lovely Norwegian accent her whole life. She died in 1986 at 82. I was 21 when she passed away. I was trying to learn Norwegian but, I might be too impatient & lazy to learn it. All the same, I love hearing you speak Norwegian, Karin. 😊

I like these conversational style blogs. They don't have to.be a day in the life although that is great. It could also be thematic. Talking about the past, politics, schools, trends in Norway, houses ... For people not in Norway it's just good to hear you talk. The subject doesn't matter.
