A very good video, thank you very much. Q: if the o in kommer is pronouced as an å, why is it not written as an å, or why is the å in på not written as an o? In other words: why a special letter? Ha det bra.

Thanks for the comment. This has to do with the development from Old Norse to modern Norwegian. In Old Norse, a long 'a' was used in many words. Over time, this evolved to be pronounced with an 'å' sound, and as I understand it, the (previously) long 'a' was replaced by the letter 'å'.
