Keen to get one of these. I have their Gamme 4, dome tent for vehicle based camping. Roomy enough that i can put my pants on standing up. Heading for 73, knees and hips getting a bit rickety. ( They are currently selling the last of their discontinued "Stone grey "Gamme 4, 6 and 8 series tents at half price on the Nortent site if anyone is interested.) This is perfect for me for rambling 2 -3 day hikes. Great review !

This tent is old version, because I got this tent a couple of months ago and has some extra very cool features. The tent of the new version looks very cool and strong like a house, but what I like most is that inside the tent you feel very nice, camfortable and quiet in the wind. The first tent I bought Vern 1 PC come with quality issues, but when I contacted the company they fixed everything very nicely and quickly, beautiful custom service. I did a rain test, but there was a short rain and the tent not leaking so I`m still waiting for a long rain to do a real rain test.

Good tip about the poles, I'd be screaming in frustration with a separated pole and potentially damage something 😧 no camping for me this year but I'm already saving up for next season

This Tent is awesome. Was looking for some information but there is almost no video about it. Thank you very much for this in-deep review. I have a Vango Solace PC Airbeam Tent. Its more for a family camping as it weights around 25KG. How is your experience with PC material? I know that when it rains you should not touch the inner wall with your fingers. Otherwise water will go throu the wall. With a big tent thats no issue, but with a smaller like the Vern1, do you touch the inner wall while sleeping e.g. with your head or feet?

I think the specs refer to the updated model for this year, which has a floor with 10000HH and not 5000H like the older model (yours). They also got rid of the sleeve for the across pole, now they have the same setup as the two longer poles. Also the poles should slightly stronger. Great tent, looking forward to get one later this year.

I heard you pronounce 'Italian' 'Eye-talian'. My grandmother used to pronounce it that way. You're very bright, it seems to me. You're not a dumb hick like we have a lot of around here (in Texas). Anyway, I love your adventures and all the beautiful scenery. Thanks.

Great review! I do hope that Nortent develops a lighter and more packable version of this... maybe using the new breathable fabric Nortent is using for the Skjul, which doesn't appear to have any reviews out yet (hint hint ;) )

Absolutely SUPERB review! Copious details, as always...very much appreciated! Always consider your reviews when im deciding on any gear. By the way, any ideas why the manufacturer listed 4 more y-pegs than what was in the bag?

You've talked in many of your videos about the weight you carry when you're camping...with the backpack as well as your camera equipment. I know this isn't fully canvas but I remember camping as a kid, carrying a heavy canvas tent (I was a Girl Scout)...does this increase the weight significantly or no?
@Lonewolfwildcamping3 ай бұрын
It's worth the extra weight . The durability is amazing

Polycotton is the absolute shit. I’ll gladly carry a little more weight for cotton and the gamut of benefits it provides.
