One important correction, at 27:24 the car charges for Mahananda WLS will be ₹700 not 2000.
After a long time I am back with another travel video. After the memories of Jim Corbett National Park lets explore our own state in this spring. The North bengal is regarded as one of the majestic birding hotspot in the country. We choose 2 serene locations for our trip: Shivakhola (Shivakhola Adventure Camp) and Latpanchar with Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary for birding. In this video you will be travelling through the marvellous landscapes of Himalayas in North Bengal and enjoy those moments of birding in the two locations. Also the birds observed are compiled here. We also visited some other places like Namthing Lake and Ahal Dara viewpoint. Watch till the end for the complete experience of a Birding tour. And don't forget to stay in home and combat with the COVID-19.
Some extra birds forgot to mention in the video:
In Shivkhola: Streaked Spiderhunter, Large Woodshrike, Common Green Magpie, Verditer Flycatcher.
In Latpanchar: Common Rose Finch, Himalayan Bulbul, Russet Sparrow, Velvet-fronted Nuthatch, Himalayan Shrike Babbler, Grey headed Canary Flycatcher, White browed Scimitar Babbler, Black-chinned Yuhina, Grey capped Woodpecker, Lesser Yellow-nape Woodpecker
In Mahananda WLS: Small Pied Flycatcher, Rufous bellied Niltava, Asian Emerald Dove, Blue-bearded Bee-eater

In May, I think one normal jacket will do the job. Still it will be better if you ask your homestay owner.

Very beautiful natural video...when did you visit? How many days are required to cover Latpanchar?

I visited in March 2020. If you are a naturalist, birder etc. then 3 days in Latpanchar is good to explore. Otherwise normal people can also stay for 2 days.

Y your driver playing some stupid music. How to hear bird calls and track them in such sound
@DebdeepPramanik005
@DebdeepPramanik005 4 жыл бұрын
Driver was playing music while we were in the car. I don't think, from a running car in hilly road you will get a nice shot of a bird. In the subsequent stage you can see we went out for birding by foot. I think, that gives the real essence of birding.
