Guys i absolutely love this this, makes our UK roads look tiny. What a great drive and fantastic siren and bullhorn, great communication on the radio take a look at how the UK chiefs get around
@leonardochapman4736 Жыл бұрын
their driving is terrible compared to emergency drivers here in the UK, in this video they've cut across medians; driven very aggressively; never slowing down, which forces the cars to move when it could be unsafe; etc
@literalantifaterrorist467310 ай бұрын
@@leonardochapman4736american emergency driving is typically more aggressive because we can afford to be more aggressive and because we have longer response times. additionally, it is really hard to tell relative speed with the dashcam FOV.

ya but i'm a firefighter as well. and i seen how long it takes for response times to incidents on the autobahn and you have strategic placements of rescue and private ambulance/ fire departments over there... 90% of our's are county /city/state funded. &10% volunteer. and ours are also responding from great distances at times so breaks in our guard rails would cut down response times in the golden hour for critical incidents.
@EnjoyFirefighting9 жыл бұрын
sam lyon we hardly have any privat ambulance services over here?! We have exactly one private EMS provider in the city, which runs only 1 single ambulance, whereas all others are runned by the Red Cross, St. John, Order of Maltese. And the Paid FD in my city has only one single station (the city has 200,000 inhabitants, 2 highways, whereby one of them has 2 tunnels), all other stations are from the Volunteer FD, but they don't run 1st alarm calls, no first responder calls and so on)

The worst first part was having to go so far past where the fire was before they actualy found one of those emergency cut-throughs, then when you had to drive down the right hand side emergency lanes, that is where over half the time you see all kids of debris like semi truck rubber that has come off of their tires, or sometimes lots of other garbage and in a case like this, your hoping that you don't have to run over any of that kinds of stuff which can burst a tire or something worse...

@@tuckerteige1 that's not true, as long as you protect victim information it's completely legal. See "Live Rescue" as an example.
