Wasn't the idea of a spectator drag people bringing their daily cars? The guy brings a purposely built S10 and a full race setup corvette... why would they be allowed to race with the regular cars? I've been seeing a lot of these purposely built spectator drag cars just completely annihilate the field and get the money prize! I think they should limit what can be done to the cars or do a class division. To be fair to the regular folks that just want to run their mostly stock cars! Anyways, the race corvette and S10 are awesome!
@georgeoutthebox62455 ай бұрын
The s10 is good..I just laugh because he definitely races..literally the only spectator who is 100percent a race truck...I bet he runs staggered wheels to go with his roof earo lexan, third link, quick change rear end, and wonder why he cleans house...it's a race truck with a stock body...bet he even runs coil overs and all. But if the officials allow it...then why ain't no one else caught on or done the same...take a good look at that thing and take notes and even the field yourselves.
@georgeoutthebox62455 ай бұрын
And I'm not trying to throw hate his way...I mean he is a great wheel, dude can drive..and obviously has an understanding of chassis set up...and truth be told if you are gonna race that's the way to do it...I mean drivers at tracks racing sport 4, up to pro stock get paid garbage compared to the spectator purse I am sure..I used to put for several race teams..I would like to see this as a real division. @georgeoutthebox62455 ай бұрын
@@crazyblazerguy3773 obviously I'm not in the pit. I don't really know what the set up is..as I said I mean no disrespect. Alot of people in the comments through watching other spectator drags have issues with someone who is obviously prepared for any thing they line up against. I know what aerodynamics on a vehicle look like, I don't see too many people in spectator drags that unload their rigs and set their tire pressures before they hit the track...im not dumb it's a stagger thing. All I am saying is. If people have an issue THEY should take the time to do what they can to set their car up for the track as well...I don't know what the payout is ..but I know the race trucks may get what 500$ for first place? Pro stock may get 800$ to win ..I'm sure spectator has a purse as well. Sure you don't race just for the glory...lol. as I said I'm not trying to throw shade.. brass tack giving credit to someone who obviously is a damn good driver, who has a passion for the sport, comes prepared, amd puts on a show...I also never said I know exactly what's up with the truck..I was just trying to say that no one should be faulted or attacked for being prepared, and being good at what they do. (But no one is gonna tell me that truck is stock) And I know the Camaros and the Tesla, and the Nissan or Toyota race car is stock as well, but the truck is another animal, it's capability is only further enforced by the capable hands behind it.
@crazyblazerguy37735 ай бұрын
